I got to admit,I love reading at the best of times. Those of us who love to read tend to get the most out of books.I'm a big fan of books that I can learn from.Self help books, relationship books, etc. There's something worth learning.I even read up on dating books just to relearn some skills. As a guy I also love the guy stuff, cars, hobbies, interests, man cave, etc.

What book are you reading? What books are you reading? What helps you?

Thanks.

the new one by Stephen King... Fairy Tale

Hope you enjoyed/are enjoying it smallwolf! I have become a fan of Stephen King’s work in recent years but so far have stuck mostly to his more classic horror/thriller novels. But it seems that Fairy Tale is pretty popular!

My recent reads have been:

The Times I Knew I Was Gay - Eleanor Crewes

Pumpkin Heads - Rainbow Rowell

Kisses for Jet - Joris Bas Backer

Blankets - Craig Thompson

Bloom - Kevin Panetta

The Mysterious Benedict Society - Trenton Lee Stewart

Handsome - Holly Lorka

And at the moment I’m actually reading a book by Stephen King’s son Joe Hill - ‘Strange Weather’

Lol thankyou Willow Jude.

I have a LIST of books to purchase hahaha. Once our renovations are done and our bookcases are set up, upstairs AND downstairs, I will go full steam ahead in buying MORE. We lost so many books in the dark era, along with so much else, though I am fully confident we'll need more bookcases very soon! Hahaha.

I read non stop lol.
TONS of research for my work which I LOVE doing!
I'll be doing a TON more research for an idea I have, which keeps growing and growing lol.
My eldest d and I are the creators. I see it going International now. My d said the concepts are "Universal", makes me so happy that more people will be assisted with this.

I AM currently reading:
Dr Joe Dispenza's Becoming Supernatural
ATLAS of The Heart and Daring Greatly again by Brene Brown.
Also The Secret again lol and giving The Greatest Secret a quick go over in between times.

I'm so passionate about raising my vibrations via Meditation, self development and research, that anything in these "genres" is all I'm about lol.

Love EM

I have been reading S King books since the mid 80s. Have you tried

Dark Tower

Series of books.

Oh wow, that's impressive smallwolf!

No, I haven't read the Dark Tower series. Before I got into Stephen King, I had the ending of the series told to me by someone who was very frustrated by it! So I'm not sure I'd be keen to commit to reading the whole series when I already know how it finishes, and would probably find myself frustrated with the ending too! But I'm sure there's some great parts to the series that could still make it worth it, so maybe one day 🙂

I'm reading "Becoming Supernatural" by Dr Joe Dispenza.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND any of his books and YT clips for anyone who's goal is mental HEALTH.

So much healing in this information, as long as we put it into action of course lol.

I'm trying real hard to read but I'm only able to start on like the first 5 pages of books, and I've started:

The Barefoot Investor

The Demon Haunted World

Lord of the Flies

The Philosophy Boook

Grim's Fairy Tales

And one more book that might not be appropriate to list on here

I haven't read Stephen King for years, but would like to give another of his a go. I'm not familiar with any of your list Willow Jude - are they of a particular genre? Or a mix?

I got almost through Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza - then realised I need to pay to download the meditations and I can't afford to. Doh! Annoying. So I started on Reasons Not to Worry by Brigid Delaney, which draws on the philosophy of the Stoics. Some pretty practical advice and I'm quite liking it thus far.

Dear All~

I've been reading pure (ancient) escapism, the 'Honorverse' series by David Weber. It is 'space opera' and features a heroine who has the ability to overcome immense - some would say totally impossible - odds.

Apart from being completely unreal and removed from everyday life it has the great advantage there are many books in the series and so I can look forward to lots more of the same:)
