It would be so great to have a thread here where we can chat about almost anything. We can have fun, tell jokes, share stories, you name it!
There's a "BB Cafe" thread in the general area where lots of people chat daily and have established some nice light hearted conversations, it's treated as if it's a real cafe, there's even virtual baked goods and coffee!
Let's create a chat here for anyone to join, in particular the GLBTIQ community to let their collective hair down and chill out. It's a safe space to be yourself.
We just need a name 🙂

thanks dan, all my posts are moderated. is that because i'm new-ish?
i think so too - at least a good part, if not all of my dissociation is gender/body-related but i guess i did a bad job of explaining that. actually, i know i explained it badly but he asked me about it at the end of the third session and i really think he'd already made up his mind by that point. so yeah, i need to decide whether to stick with him and try to get him to re-think, or go to someone else. things sort of took a downward turn for a while so i haven't done anything yet, but new meds now seem to be helping, so maybe i can start thinking about it again.

Hey Danny;
No doubt you're living it up in a tee-pee and freezing your beautiful butt off! It's -4 here atm so I hope you're North of the border. Ah...where ever that is?
Hoping you're with others chanting to the beat of your proverbial drum and dancing up a storm. It sounds as though you're in your element my sweet. So few words...yet saying so much. 🙂
Want to hear all about it when you return...'kay?

Hi Rayne;
It seems the psych dilemma is still going on hun; sorry. If things don't pan out, there's bound to be someone out there who resonates with you.
All posts are moderated which creates a time lapse but if key words/phrases are present it takes longer. Hope this helps...
I'm bursting to know how your public speaking event went! It's nearly a month since. I've been hanging by a thread you know; please put me out of my misery.
You must be relieved your med's plan is coming together too lovely.
Rayne...please tell me a nice bedtime story; something uplifting from your life? We all seem to have such weird lives. I've been in dissociative mode tonight...ah...what was I talking about? Ah ha ha! No really, gimme some gold!
Hey MsP;
Seeing you around the traps tonight; you're in posting mood yeah? Hope all's well and maybe you're working another job? Btw, with starting a business, I meant as a dietitian, not product development. You know, a gap like diabetes or even anxiety - keeping adrenaline stimulating foods down etc. It's just a thought...
Take care guys...

Sara 🙂 your posts always make me smile. Welcome back. I hope things are better for you now.
Bedtime story from me: I'm visiting a foreign city right now. Imagine one with a lot of history and a lot story around it and within it. I didn't want to come here because my head was full of potential calamities but it's been OK. I've found a really interesting place with history stretching back centuries more than Au, and also a country that's wresting with current world events far more than Au because it's in the midst of them. People are endlessly polite, and while I always wonder how deep that goes, I appreciate it. There's a real sense in which its people both know and and hold to its founding values, and they're its strength. I feel admiration for this place 🙂

Oh Rayne; is there a beach? Is there a beach? Please tell me there's a beach with white sand and views of castles and ancient ruins.
Are the people modern or traditional? Their values? They're accepting right? (You know what I mean)
I have a million questions! Love my bedtime story! Tell me more...more damn it!!!
lol
Love ya...

Oh my lovely Danny;
I'm so happy you have friends you can share time with that resonate with you. It means a lot to me reading you have this in your world. That might sound a bit sappy, but in all honesty, I 'know' you deserve it. I wish I had something precious like that too.
I understand what you mean about gallery's around the world. Monet's my fave artist; I missed an opportunity many years ago to see his work on display in Sydney, and more recently in Canberra. Argh!
As for a holiday? You're probably right. More than anything I'd like to have everything at my fingertips and someone to be at my beck and call 24/7. (My ultimate break 🙂 Being alone sucks!!
Take care my lovely;
