Hey J1!,
Youre welcome man!
I really do see an epic poem in the making!
Like, The Aeneid!.
---
Keep going mate, let it all out.
I totally get the over-editing thing.
It'll help when writing poems, in the style that you've got there.
But, I'd also like to encourage you to perhaps, go a little out of your comfort zone with your writing,
Is there space in your poetry for a little less editing?
If there isnt thats fine, as well.
Just asking questions...
I sense a very passionate and intense, creative writer in you.
Bring it.
---
As mentioned in a post above...
I really dig, Free Thought Poetry, now.
Have you ever tried that, James?
Anyone else?
What about AutoWriting Poetry?
Have you done that?
Its fun!
I like to blend my poems, with beats, in my head.
And, sometimes to the music playing, in the background.
I love writing poetry now, because its a means to access a little more freedom in my life.
Thats what I am writing about, and getting at.
Writing poetry to me is not about stressing myself, or getting anxious about what Im writing.
Which at times, over-editing, can do.
Does that make sense to you, James1?
Poetry = Access Point To More Freedom In My Life.
Why do you write poetry?
Im genuinely curious.

---FREEDOM! - NOT JUST A SONG BY GEORGE MICHAEL -
Freedom is a biggie for me
Always has been you see
Working it out in the city
Got somewhere to be
Got somewhere to go
Now or never
Float like a feather
Bed I rest
I must confess
This sweet kiss
I can be brutally honest
Im sorry about that
I was just asking questions
Always asking questions
You said for me
to just be
Myself
But when I was
You didnt like it
Because Im disorderly
Dysfucntional
And
depressed.
I must confess
We are blessed.
We must attest
This aint no test
When will you live your life?
If not NOW, then when?
Gentlemen, ladies and lords
It matters who reads these words
You matter
Thank you for reading these words
Thank you for being here
When we need to be heard.
Living life can be absurd
For sure
No cure
Except life itself
Get up off the shelf
Your Mumma, my Mumma,
and their Mummas before them too
They had lots of things to do
Love bless all the mummas, papas
Sons and daughters too.
Freedom.
Free dominion.
Its just my opinion.
That freedom
should be free
for all.
MuchFreedom.

Thanks for taking the time to get back to me J1.
Keep writing, dont stop.

What if Im still angry at life

My head exploded

DAY 11
4/12/16
(At the moment. Im listening to Muddy Waters. Blues. So, this poem is best spoken with a blues feel underneath it. Peace&TheBlues)
---RockSteady
Im ready
ready
as I
will ever be
who
is
with me?
Rocksteady
Im standing
Rocksteady
I aint never got a friend
When I need one with me
But Im ready
Ready
As ready
As
I
Will
Ever
Be
A friend for you
That aint easy
Easy for me
Because
Trust
Dont come easy
But
Im ready
Ready
As
I
I will
ever be
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
Im Rocksteady
Rocksteady and feeling free
No more pretending
Pretending
to
be
Anyone
But
Im
just
gonna
be
me.
Now you see
There are some things
About me
That
Im
improving on
and
changing
cause
I learnt
some
crazy
ways
yes I did.
Dont take life
so
seriously
Just relax
with me
baby
Im rock steady
as
Rocksteady
as
Im
ever
gonna be.
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
As
Im
Ever
Gonna
be.
Thank you
All
of
you
I
thank
you
Thank you for being you
Lets dance
to the rocksteady
beat
join me here
lets dance
on the street
listening to
Bowie and Jagger
dancing there
on the street
Compassion
And love
are our birthright
just cause you have
a
disorder
that
aint the
end
of
the story
Neuroplasticity
Neurodiversity
Friendliness
and
availability
to
see
what we are meant to see
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
Rocksteady
Got
me
now
standing
Rocksteady.

I'll try to put something up tomorrow 🙂 My first draft is usually just free writing, so maybe I can give that a go in my one hour of writing tomorrow. I haven't really done any writing in the last week!
Just wanted to pop in and say keep it up! I love reading yours 🙂

As requested, just did a brain fart on my page nd here it is in its unedited glory hahaha
Falling short, one short
Too short
Always short.
I have wings
But they are clipped
By me
And me alone.
My mind dreams
My hands reach
But then I fall
Too short
Forever short.
Yet my life stretches
Out beyond the horizon
Like an ocean
Of opportunity
A new start
A new land
For me to find my place
My place?
What is this place of mine?
Where is this place of mine?
Where i can stretch my wings
And take flight.
That place is here
That place is near
I just need to reach
To stretch
And mybe
Just maybe
Then
I will be
Satisfied

J1,
That was a most excellent brain-fart, not at all offensive.
I sense that you were still playing it safe though, there's more there for you to free up.
Good work.
...Keep 'em coming...

---NakedLoneliness
Who is it that you want most at your funeral?
why?
When I dye the cloth red
sleeping in my
bed
I will be.
Who said that I had to do this your way?
No one.
Right!
Janis drank
her way silly
billy
was
a
kid
got shot big shot
elvis might still be alive
or
preserved in a jar.
Big chevrolet car!
Have you ever been so embarrassed that you just froze in place?
Like you could not move at all?
I have
when
I was 12 years old.
Felt old that day.
It was for the speech competitions and I was in the finals.
But my cue cards got all jumbled up
I mucked up
bad
it was sad
I hid
under the stage
and cried
died
of
embarressment
at
least
a
trillion times.
it was my age
I was lonely that day
and many days after
thats when I noticed the laughter
from the other kids
I wasnt strange
queer
full of cheer
gay
I would often spend many weekends by myself as a teenager
while others were out playing
I was at home hiding
shame
blame
guilt and fear
Thats all good
I was young
Sung a different song
back
then
its all good
I'm here add to the experience
right?
How many times have you been rejected?
Abandoned?
To know either but once is enough to send some to give it all up
but dont give up
please
its all good
share your vulnerability with me
and I will share mine
I am but one man
I am no more than you
and no less neither
I am born of the warrior race
Its something that I have had to face
Greenstone blades
we battled for honour
integrity
truth
Streuth ruth
Thats what we were all about
Have much have you hated on yourself?
tell me really
and
I will bare my soul for you
I will hold you
lets just do that
MuchAnticipation.

---He Can Hardly Love You.
He can hardly love you
like I do
He can hardly hold you
like I do
He can hardly rock you
take you
hold you
make you
want more
when I'm walking out the door
He can hardly make you want him
like I know
you want me
He can hardly love you
like I do
He can hardly make you laugh
in the bath
touching you
feeling you
like I do
He can hardly do those things I do for you
like I do
This I know to be true
What's your game?
I drop the ball
I'd never let you fall
as we danced
romanced
on the beach
out of reach
summer peach
from atlanta
that's you
Black skin
playing the violin
Man you so fine
blow
my
mind
all
the time
But
He cant hardly love you like I do
You know thats true.
He cant hardly make you moan
groan
delight
in
the
night
like I do.
Come back over
in your land rover
Drive through
I got you
Let me
be the man you know you need
in your life
He can hardly love you like I do
so
why you playing these games like you do.
He can hardly love you
but
there you have it.
What am I supposed to do?
I can't make you want me
like
I
want
You.

Today I will write 5 Cinquain.
Cinquain (SIN-cain): an unrhymed poem consisting of five lines arranged in a special way.
The usual diamond effect can not be achieved when we post to BB, but that's all good, the poem can still be read!.
The word cinquain comes from the Latin root for “five.”
Notice that the cinquain has five lines that follow this sequence:
Line A: One vague or general one-word subject or topic
Line B: Two vivid adjectives that describe the topic
Line C: Three interesting -ing action verbs that fit the topic
Line 😧 Four-word phrase that captures feeling about the topic
Line E: A very specific term that explains Line A
---
---1)
Giant.
Lumbering. Friendly.
Scratching, licking, sniffing.
He is ever-present.
Bundy, the Wolfhound.
---2)
Herbal.
Green. Grass.
Mulling, rolling, puffing.
Summer days, hazy ways.
It's a joint effort.
---3)
Him.
Lust. Envy.
Yearning, craving, wanting.
More than a crush.
The man of my dreams.
---4)
Sweet.
Soft. Juicy.
Dripping, slurping, devouring.
Pink fleshed summer fruit.
Watermelon.
---5)
Brave.
Strong. Resilient.
Dancing, chanting, praying.
They are the guardians.
MedicineMan.

Day17
---Acknowledgement&Validation
They go on about acknowledgement and validation.
Passing judgement on others as they go along.
Singing their song.
What number will they play today?.
High horse,
Of course.
Passive aggressive remarks.
But who is smarter?
Surrender all defences.
Lay down the pride.
See past her arrogance, and see the hurting child inside.
She is still hurting,
she is still sad.
Let her live her life.
Let her have her space.
The resentment may eat her.
For she is jealous of you.
Her pride has cost her, and lost her many friends.
On the line she can be another,
someone else's mother.
But in her bedroom, she cries herself to sleep at night.
Let her have this time, to find her sense of purpose.
For at the moment, she is lost.
Let her go.
Let her be free.
Let her go.
Let her be free.
Let her go.
Let her be free.
