The BB cafe is open for business!
Welcome all to a new chill and chat place for everyone on the forum.
The BB cafe is whatever you want it to be. There are comfy sofas, tables and chairs, coffee machines, a kitchen stocked with everything. There's a pool outside, a bbq area, an annexe with comfy beds for a quiet sleep, tv, dvd, books and whatever else you would like to have here.
Most of all, it's a place to meet friends and fellow travellers for a bit of company. Talk over problems, tell jokes, share your day, escape into a world of your making. Grab a coffee and pull up a chair ...
So, with a nod to the wonderful Carole King (Hard Rock Cafe) ...
Now if you're feeling just a little bit lonely
Don't sit at home just mopin'
Come on down to where the friendship flows freely
You know the door is always open
At the BB cafe
Come to the BB cafe
They will help keep your blues at bay
At the BB cafe

Good morning to everyone,
cold one this morning so I've put the fire on
Paul, we both have Apple iPhones now he got a Samsung Galaxy s7. Unlimited calls and texts 7gb of data plus a few other things we got it for about the same cost as his current plan which was $12 less than it would normally be. He is happy as its what he wanted but it was just too expensive so I'm happy with the deal we got. They've offered me the same deal if u co e across from my telco...so I'm not considering it. My iPhone is fine but I do like the bigger handset with the Samsung and change is good! It's a little more than what I currently pay but I figure if I don't take the deal in the long run it may cost me a lot more. Mobile phone plans can be sooooo expensive. It will be a bit of a treat for me, that's why I'm hesitating on mine. Do I need to spend that bit extra? I only use it for call, texts and photos.
Solosombra, I couldn't find you're other threads.. What are they called? I hope you are doing well.. You're a kind spirit.
little miss 3 was up early again. She wanted a drink of milk, I told her I'd be there in a minute to pour it for her. I then heard a bit of rattling around in the kitchen. She came running back to me and said "Mummy, I drink all my milk. I just pour it by myself!" She is such a funny little thing. Very independent and very caring.as I'm typing she is telling me the letters on the keyboard 🙂
ill try and catch you all later. Hope the cafe is warmed up when you get here.

Cold...cold???? Quite a few of you people are mentioning the cold...what's that?
Guess what? We hit 30 again yesterday I believe......our TV weatherman gets on and shakes his head in disbelief.....its by far the coldest May,coldest Autumn (which is over in a few days but it passed us by ) in about a million years around these parts.......the mornings and evenings are quite pleasant....it's such a novelty to dig out the long-sleeved shirts etc but the coolness doesn't last long!
No, I'm not in a middle of the Simpson Desert or anything.....actually by the coast in what is supposed to be a sub-tropical climate I believe it's called.......anyway, enjoy wearing the trendy blazers and boots...I hope to be very soon........have a lovely weekend everyone....M

Good morning all. This has to be brief right now and I am awaiting my overnight guests to awaken, before making breakfast.
Kiamau - nice to see you back again.
Chris - sorry to hear you are having difficulties with your poor OH (I was able to correctly interpret). A draught stopper in footy colours sounds ideal.
CMF - I think you will find all of Kiamau's threads under the Trauma section. Just scroll through that section and look for his name as the owner. I'm sure he'd appreciate the extra support right now.
Paul, Shell, Star, Moon, Elizabeth - I hope to catch up later, after guests have departed.
I'll just 'put another log on the fire' to keep it burning. Paul - I also have Foxtel Tunes, and regularly listen.
Gotta go,
Sherie xx

Kiamau
I just found your other posts. I'm speechless.. I'm sorry for all you've endured. I feel silly for the petty hints that cause my anxiety and constant chatter in my head. They are nothing in comparison.
Sending you a big hug.

Cmf: thank you for taking the time to read my posts and to reply!
My problems may be more intense but your problems are by no means petty and I'm sorry you have to deal with it! None of us here deserve what happened to us!
Sending you a bigger hug back

Good morning cafe folks, just checking in. It's a brisk 5 degrees here at the moment, so that fire is very welcome.
Sorry I've been out of touch. I'm not well, and having a bad week. The lurgy is still hanging around but mainly I'm struggling mentally. I've started to cut back the ADs before I start the bipolar medication and it's knocking me around.
I've just had my blood test to establish the baselines for kidney and liver function before I start Lithium, and will see my doc on Wednesday to work out the new drug regime. I was hoping to take time off work to go through this but because of the time I lost with the flu I'm behind in everything and can't. I might be able to work from home next week if things aren't going well.
It's a day by day thing at the moment. Today I feel OK so far, and at least I can stay home and hide from the world. My hubby is doing a wonderful job of looking after me, don't know what I'd do without him. And my doggies are doing their job as my little doctors.
Sorry, this all me me me. I am trying to keep up with what everyone's up to, and thinking of you all constantly. Big hugs and much love to you all. Take care.
Love
Kaz
