Hi Neerja I did not end up shifting the rose as I am still working out where to put it.I did some work in the garden and might do it tomorrow if I can get my daughter to help me.
MY daughter is into horror movies like Saw and ones like that.Ice age is good to watch and is funny. My daughter has been watching bewitched dvds all day.
I hope you do well with your school work.I could have done a lot better if I wasn't being bullied and suffering from depression and anxiety. What are interested in doing when you finish school? My daughter wants to be a vet nurse. She only has next year and is finished school.Shes feeling better but see Monday when she has to go back to school.
I hope you have a good evening.I have a bit of a headache from my son talking non stop.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
Horror movies are really good. Wow, watching movies all day sounds so fun! I wish I could do that but my brother is always taking over the tv, haha. I like thriller and sci-fi movies the most. What type of movies do you like?
One year left, wow. I still have 3 years left. A vet nurse is such a rewarding vocation, knowing that you are making a difference is such a beautiful reward.
I am really glad that your daughter is feeling better.
I am thinking of being a teacher, but I am still not sure yet.
How has today been?
I am deeply sorry you went through so much, it wasn't fair and you did not deserve any of it. Please know that here, we are all here for you.
Hope you have fun shifting the roses tomorrow.
I understand what you mean about getting a headache, haha, my brother yesterday talked until 2 am. He kept on talking about school, his teachers, his favourite colour, tv shows, I got a headache from that.
Hope you and your family are doing well.
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja

Hi Neerja a teacher would be a cool job.My daughter has selective mutism and talks to no body except close family so it is going to hard for her.
I like all sorts of different movies from comedies and sci-fi.I have been watching some good ones on the movie channel lately.
Kid's can be so cruel in school.I wish everyone was nice like you but their seems to be so much cruelty towards one another.
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
I understand that it will be hard for her. I know this is not the same but I have been diagnosed with social anxiety and been to hospital for chest pain and anxiety, whenever I talk to someone face-to-face I don't know well, I freeze and take a long time to respond to them. I hardly ever participate in class and my teachers always complain about it to my parents, they don't understand and get annoyed by me. That's why I am not completely sure I will be able to be a teacher. I am scared for year 10, they do a lot of oral presentations which I know I won't be able to do.
I think your daughter will be able to any job she wants to.
A vet is a really cool and rewarding and amazing vocation.
You are right about kids being cruel. There is popularity hierarchy in all schools where everyone is divided. I have been bullied pretty much every year in school. The worst was in year 5, I was called things like "forehead" (I have a big forehead), "fat", "stupid", "loner" and other stuff. The teachers weren't helpful and I never told my parents. My 'friends' left me. Last year it was more indirect, I don't know if this is bullying but my 'friends' said bad things behind my back, which I heard, they used me for answers, bragged about their weight and being able to go places as I stay home all day.
You are a really kind, understand and compassionate person, we need more people like you.
I completely forgot about comedy movies, that is a really good choice. I am glad you have been finding movies that you like lately.
How has today been for you?
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja

Hi Neerja thanks for telling me about what you are going through in school. I am sorry you are going through this something similar what I went through. I wish things had changed and people were not judged. I think your an amazing caring person and hope you can get through your school years knowing that and the people bullying are so wrong and are missing out on your amazing friendship.
My daughter does her orals by recording them and then sending them to her teacher.
My days been OK.I am did some watering and watched a movie.
Take care,
Your friend,
Mark.

Hi Mark,
Thank you for your kind words. Just 3 more years of school, hopefully, the students in my new school are understanding and I make friends there.
That is a good way to do oral presentations.
I am glad that your day has been ok. Sounds like a nice and calm day, which is good.
How are you feeling today?
I hope you and your family are doing well.
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja

Hi Neerja (and a wave to Mark)
Many schools have a "welfare team" that you can go to and tell them that you have social anxiety and freeze when you have to present to a large group.
One of my sons has awful difficulty doing same. His are responses to trauma. His school is NOT very 'trauma informed' but basically I asked son if presenting to a group of 4-5 plus the teacher would be more manageable and he said YES.
So that's what I demanded.
You can do this yourself. Maybe not 'demand' but ASK how they can 'adapt their program' so that your individual needs can be met.
It's a thing.
The States are EXPECTING schools to respond to the challenges students have.
YES I ALSO hope and Pray that at your new school, there will be wonderful opportunities for you to make nice friends.
Love EM

Hi Ecomama,
I don't know if my school has a welfare team. But I will try to find out. My English teacher in y9 is pretty understanding but I don't know about next year if my teachers will understand.
I am glad that you demanded to your son's welfare team, to make the presentations more manageable.
No one really likes me and I tend to lose friends over time.
I hope schools start to change. In many schools there is this popularity hierarchy, all the teachers and other students follow and favour the "rebellious" students and they treat the "other" students differently and some are even ignored and talked to when someone needs something.
Thanks Ecomama
Warm wishes,
Your friend,
Neerja

Hi Neerja
I really hope things are different too!
As I understand it ALL Schools must have a "Learning Support Team", I believe it's tied in with the regulations around the Disabilities Act from a long time ago. You can ask about that (even at the front office or of a teacher who seems nice) and refer yourself to that team.
I understand High Schools also have a Faculty called "Student Services" or "The Student Welfare Team" but it could be called just about anything.
It's THESE teams who are supposed to make adjustments to programs.
