Hi everyone,
I don’t know about everyone else but I am exhausted… seriously burnt out! It’s been coming for a while but this year has drained me. The work stress has been overwhelming and endless. My energy depleted.
I need to see a Doctor but too exhausted to even make the appointment. Unpacking the dishwasher and I feel like I have run a marathon. Actually unpacking the groceries has me puffing for air. Don’t know if it’s the leftovers of the flu earlier this year and my inactivity but all of this combined is impacting my ability to get out of bed on the weekend.
I do absolutely nothing but sit as physically I just can’t manage anymore than this. I was never ever like this before…

Hey Fiatlux,
I'm sorry to read that you are not feeling well. I'm not an expert, but I think I can relate about feeling exhausted all the time despite not doing any hard physical activity (why do you think my name is sleepy😅). I had that issue when my doctor told me I have anxiety and depression. It really drains you and makes you feel like "blah" all the time.
My only piece of advice is please see your doctor asap, the sooner you do it the sooner you can tackle whatever issues you may have. I know things can be easier said than done, but what harm is there in taking the first step/s to getting the help you need?
I'm still relatively new here myself, so hopefully some more experienced community members out there can give you better advice and have some useful links that could help you.

Hi Fiatlux,
Really sorry to hear what you are going through, feeling this way for such a long time can take a toll on your physical and mental health.
As you have mentioned, please push yourself to make an appointment with your GP or a mental health professional as quickly as possible. I hope you have family or friends to support you too.
Work is important and vital but so are YOU. If I may ask, is there any way you can take a day or two off work and do something for yourself? Even if it is something small like taking a trip to the local botanical gardens (being with nature) or going to the museum or whatever that interests you.
It may feel hard at the moment but if you are able to do any small change to your routine might do wonders for your general well-being.

to be honest i would like someone to talk to but i dont have people to talk to and im really stressed about assignments i just lost 3 friends because of something stupid and just feel like crap to be honest but anyway i hope your feeling ok
