Does someone want to talk right now

Hello Sienna_12,

If you need to vent, just vent. These forums are here for that, for those who may not have support in real life or just find it hard to open up and don't know where to start. No pressure tho, you can talk about things when you feel ready. I'm still slowly opening up myself, but it is always good to know there is a community on here that is willing to listen.

Take Care,

Hi, I Hope everyone is doing okay.

I have had a bit of a tough week this week, I had to say goodbye to my beautiful cat of 17 years and while this was happening, I had an argument with my stepdaughter and her partner, and I haven't had the metal or emotional strength to open the discussion line to fix it. Every time I contemplate how I should go about it my anxiety and trauma response go into overdrive, and I can't bring myself to do it as I don't want the possible repercussions.

At some point it will have to happen but until then I will just keep on doing what I know I can do to get through.

Hello LostSoul

I'm so sorry that you're going through all this, it's a lot to handle. Losing our pet is very heart breaking and it takes time to grieve as it's really hard to deal with a loss of our faithful companion.

All this can stretch us to the limits and we're not the usual ourselves. It can all make us more sensitive and it's easier to get upset. It's ok to give ourselves time to heal and calm down and then deal with difficult things later. Maybe giving a short message to your step daughter saying that it's all too much for you at this moment but you really want to sort it out later when you're in a better shape.

I'm really sorry about your cat and I hope that things will get better for you.
Please let us know how you're going whenever you feel like it

Not ok. Just lashed out. Doesn't seem to care. My feelings are not a priority to him. I'm tired. I'm broken.

No.

Hello Tina77

I'm so sorry that you're feeling broken and frustrated. It's heart breaking when our feelings get ignored. Have you tried to contact 1800RESPECT? They can help a lot.
