Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.

This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.

When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.

Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.

Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!

To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)

Dottie - Haha yes the amount of selfies I have taken....😂 And funnily enough, the 2nd pair of Docs are actually my Christmas present from last year! my mum gave me a voucher to get them and we've just never got around to it! So hopefully I'll get them soon 😊 And yes! We've got the rainbow bunting up now and I must say, it looks great 🙂 And I'm glad to hear confirmed that it's safe for me to nap in lectures 😝

I've been quite good the past few days, and I actually got a little bit of study done today, which I'm pretty happy with myself about. I hardly ever feel proud of myself, but joining this forum kind of helped me realise that we deserve to recognise and feel proud of our achievements, and that it doesn't matter how big or how small they seem!! 🙂

Hey Demi - oh my gosh that's so unfortunate, haha. That reminds me of my own failed attempt to study outside. I was doing my revision for the statistics final exam in 1st year uni. Anyway, I decided I deserved a break so I went out to get some lunch. While I was having lunch, it absolutely poured down and yes, maybe you've guessed it already, my notes and my textbook were still outside. They got so badly drenched that they'd basically disintegrated, haha. What made it worse? The textbook wasn't even mine 😛

Hey Zeal & Dottie - it was too windy for snorkelling today and yesterday 😞 So instead I just ended up doing tutoring and swimming in a nice sheltered pool, haha.

Ahw - I'm very proud of you to have done some more study! Keep at it. Year 12 is a big big big accomplishment. Among all my friends, we all found year 12 to be the most stressful thing academically - way more than it should be, haha.

Yeah, it is quite hard to be mad at a puppy, I was slightly annoyed but I honestly found it more humorous that anything which is lucky. Re-writing the notes only took an
hour which isn’t bad at all because it was good practice (and I counted it towards
my study time for the day :P) What are you up to this week?

Dottie - Oh no! Not the selfie stick! 😂 And as for Docs, I think I might go the Cherry Red...(with black laces of course). My current pair are a soft black leather so I definitely have the black Docs covered there! Yes! I'll make sure I let you know how everything goes 🙂

Demi - Yes, I've gone pixie! If you search up 'Shailene Woodley short hair' that'll give you an idea of what it looks like. Very similar! As for what else is coming up, I'm seeing a performance by our Year 11s tomorrow night (after choir) and then Wednesday (birthday!) night I have a Performing Arts End Of Year evening, for which we are going paint balling! Can't wait 🙂 Have you got anything else besides work and study in the near future?

James, ahw, Zeal and anyone else - I hope you are having a pleasant week, I had a pretty great weekend myself. Its a pity you couldn't go snorkelling James, I hope there's a nice day coming up for you. And yes, ahw, you should always recognise achievements, big or small. Demi, puppies and their cuteness means they get away with anything 😉 Glad rewriting your notes didn't take too long. Well, I've a combination of work and uni this week (as per usual).

I'm hanging out with a friend on Sunday, which I'm trying to worm out of as I'm mostly going out of a sense of social obligation rather than genuinely wanting to go ha, ha. But I might just see her and get it over and done with.

Hi everyone,

It's now 3:52am according to my laptop ha, ha. I've been up for almost an hour now. Apparently my new thing is randomly waking up during the wee hours of the morning ha, ha.

I decided to stay up as I need to be up again at 5am anyway. Going to finish catching up on a stats lecture that I started last night then I'll be up to date on stats yay!

Demi - yeah... about the explaining...I have a really bad memory so I actually forgot to tell them and they never asked. 6 years on, it's never been brought up, haha. I actually also have a friend's accounting book...it's very embarrasing.
