Hey! Welcome to Friends Cafe.
This is a chill and chat space for young BB members to talk about anything and everything and make new friends.
When school's getting to you, uni or work has got you down, parents, partners, friends don't understand, and especially if you're feeling alone or lonely - come and relax awhile and talk to others who know just how you feel.
Our minds can cause us trouble, but they can also be amazing things that imagine beauty, love and fun. This cafe has everything you can imagine. To start with it's, well, a cafe. So there's chairs and tables, comfy couches for flopping, a big screen tele, unlimited download on computers for games, Spotify (or an old-school jukebox if you prefer), every movie you can think of on instant demand ... whatever you want, it's here. Post and tell us what'd you'd like.
Plus, there's an infinite menu of whatever food or drinks takes your fancy. And it's all free!
To kick it off, today we have a special range of Monster Milkshakes - those thick gooey shakes topped with cronuts, chocolate bars, cake, cookies ... whatever you want. And if you can get through one of them, you're a legend (and probably feeling a little bit sick LOL!)
Welcome friends.

ahw - Oh cool! I feel like, in a way, Pukwudgie is the Gryffindor of Ilvermony? It seems pretty popular, and just the theme and traits seem to match a bit. And I'm glad you can relate to the feeling of losing yourself in a book. I've always found it funny how most parents tell their kids to read more, but mine would tell me to read less because I would read instead of doing homework!
And I'm a lover of black clothes too. I swear half my wardrobe is black! Haha 😛 My friends joke that and all black outfit with my Doc Martens is my signature outfit. And sorry but I don't think I'll really be able to give you any study tips as I haven't quite reached that year level myself.
Hey Demi! I've been doing a LOT of music which I'm sure you've read about haha 😛 but other than that, I've just been planning my birthday, getting homework over and done with, and starting cricket again! How've you been lately?
James - It's awesome that you're going to start music again! Good luck with whatever you choose to do. And snorkelling? Wow! The last time I snorkelled was at Yr 8 camp, a year ago! I do love to snorkel though. It was so cool in Thailand and Fiji seeing all the little fish. Have fun!

Hey Tara,
Yeah definitely sleepers. I'm a serial microsleeper in lectures and tutorials haha. Worst thing is I'm also someone who sits up the front where the lecturer can see 😛 but I participate enough to get by...
I am such a bad influence haha.

Hi James 🙂
I feel like we all took a while to realise that Snape is the real hero in the series, although I must admit Dobby was definitely a favourite of mine... not sure if it's because I resonate with him... being extremely short and all haha. Yeah, maybe stay a cute, innocent owl for one more day 😛 What instruments do you play currently? I hope to learn guitar after HSC, I have one but struggle to find the time to use it. I also really want to use my flute more, definitely miss playing it. Where abouts do you Snorkel? My stepdad has a scuba instructing license and wants to teach me as we are planning on going cage diving sometime soon hopefully.
Best of luck to your tutee, I'm sure he/she will perform outstandingly. Um, I have 7 exams.
Ahw I agree wholeheartedly with James, even though you may be feeling down, you sat there, and tried your best and the fact that you had the courage to tell us about how you're feeling is amazing. You are unique, and although school may not be your time to shine, in 25 days we're free to become the best version of ourselves x
Hey Tara 🙂
Are you getting excited!?!? Not long now 🙂 oww cricket, that's interesting. I've been okay thank you, been better, been worse so can't complain I guess. What are you thinking for your birthday so far? Any themes?
Hope you're all having a lovely night and finding some time to relax

Hey Demi,
Yeah Dobby was such a hero 😞
I play clarinet and really want to join an orchestra. Apparently there are some local community orchestras which might be fun to join. You could give that a go too when you finish your HSC.
I usually go to Clovelly or Shelly Beach (near Manly) for snorkelling. I've got my open water diving licence. I'd really recommend it! Have you been diving or snorkelling before?

I was part of a small local community orchestra for a few years and I'd definitely reccomend it if it's something you're interested in!! 🙂
James, Demi, Tara, Dottie, Zeal, Grace, and everyone - hope you are all okay and having a nice day 🙂

Hi Demi! I'm having an outdoor movie night for my birthday 🙂 I really want rainbow decorations (since I'm gay and all), but I don't know if we'll be able to find any, so that's my mission this weekend!
Everyone else - I hope you had an acceptable week and you haven't got too much of a homework/study load for the weekend. And just a random side note; I'm drinking this tea right now called Russian Earl Grey by Dilmah and omg it's beautiful 😍😋 If you're a tea drinker, I highly recommend!! I'm leaving in about an hour for Presentation Night, so I'll let you all know how it goes tomorrow 🙂
