Gday, im a 44 year old bloke. I live in country victoria. This is my first time using this page. I dont have many friends as im very shy in new company. I enjoy music mostly rock and grunge. Im struggling with life at the moment and would love to make friends to talk to about anything. Be it footy, politics or even the weather.

Hey Rodman316, welcome aboard! Not seen a post since you last wrote in so I hope you're ok. I'm a big fan of rock and grunge too - Nirvana, Pearl jam, Soundgarden, Red Hot Chilis etc currently gutted that Metallica have pulled out of their tour here as I had tickets. Ahh well, cancelled apparently because James is tackling his inner demons - we all get them, no matter how rich or famous. Don't know much about AFL, did tune into the final last week and saw GWS get their pants pulled down but that's about it. Hope you're well and don't worry about being shy, you're amongst some very good and helpful company here!

Glad to have you here. I'm still new to the forum myself but I really enjoy how friendly and supportive everyone is here. There are some forums out there (I'm not going to name any but one starts with a forum and ends with a pool hehe) where people can be quite toxic and negative 24/7.

Not much about footy but I went to Canberra by myself the other day just for a visit. Went up to Parliament and was pretty impressed. Every room or hall you go into the building just reminds you of the importance of the place.
