So...school yrs, young, bout 9 yrs approx very vulnerable age, the whole class was there....I was sitting with a group of girls at the library of all places....someone said something funny but had to be quiet of course so I held in my giggle and a massive, I'm talking helium balloon size bubble came outta my nose.....OF COURSE....one girl had to see it and said .....ahhhhhh LOOK AT THE BUBBLE.....oh god.....

I did that too with someone in a group that sells things in Australia, she put up photos of what she sells and her new kid, and I said the same, was a boy, I was so embarrassed. Still cute but I'm still embarrassed

Sadly we can't escape embarrassing moments it seems or in my case as I'm sure many others humiliation lol. At least we can laugh later...much later often is the case 😅

Awkward isnt it.
I think a lot depends on the Mum or Dads reaction too.

My Mum got a second banana for my brothers lunch as the first wasn't in good condition.
This isnt the funny part but the poor love fell down the stairs taking it to him.

The part that had me laughing was she said .." you should have seen the banana after that" 😅

Deebi..I love this thread...It’s a fun thread and I always think Its good that we can laugh at ourselves..it can be self healing..

I remember years back when I was working in a factory..I was asked to do some morning overtime..

I got up..got dressed..and left home at 4.30am, to get their on time..

I was sitting outside having morning tea, and a couple of girls that I sat with began giggling, looking at me..I asked what’s so funny. wanting to get in on the joke...

They asked me if I was starting a new fashion and told me to look at my shoes..😂..I had put on two completely different coloured shoes...Of course it went around the factory and in no time I had co workers walking past me to have a look and a good giggle...😂😂..At times throughout that day...I just thought about what I done and lost myself in short bouts of laugher..👟👞..

Hi all.

Today mine was when I saw my GP, my appointment was over and I was putting something in my Purse but I was having trouble so I just kept sitting there talking to her because it was awkward and I felt embarrassed as silly as it sounds, I'm just overthinking it now

I can relate blondguy, our little one is what some would call “pretty”

We’ve had comments while walking about how cute “she”is, we’ve stopped correcting them now and just let it go, my partner got upset and fixated on it for a bit and while being mindful of gender stereotypes tried to boy up his clothes just a little bit

now we don’t care, he is getting old enough now where it’s a bit more obvious and if you can’t tell... well thats fine we have a safe and happy little boy that’s the main thing...
