Positive thread - any suggestions (games, coping strategies, anything at all)?

Hi everyone. I'm Tayla and I'm 20, posted here a few times.

I thought I'd try and make a positive thread, for anyone to get involved in, to hopefully chat to new and previous people I've talked to on here, anyone. Here's some suggestions below, comment (if anyone is up to it) whatever you like.

  • Game suggestions (for example there's one on this BB Social Zone "Movies A-Z").
  • What music you like (bands, songs, albums, anything) to introduce people, & see if you have any interests.
  • Anything that helps you cope with anything, any coping strategies at all.
  • Movies you like.
  • Books you like.
  • TV Shows you like.
  • Anything at all you'd like to discuss - positive stuff such as inspiring quotes, anything happy!

Feel free to comment whatever you like, that goes for anyone, if you feel comfortable. I hope to hear from some people, new and previous ones I've talked to. I hope this thread is alright to post & brings some happiness & socialisation to these BB Forums.

Thanks!

Tayla x

Thanks Mark, thought I'd try and make something positive.

Do you have anything that helps you, or anything listed - games, music, anything?

Hi Tayla

Good on you for wanting to try be positive. I sometimes like to watch movies that are just lighthearted fun. The other day I watched The Goonies. It's pretty old but I'd never seen it and I really enjoyed it. Have you seen it? Is there any movies that you would recommend for me?

Thanks, Katy

Hi Tayla! Great to see you back on BB. I watch funny Utube videos - something to make me laugh! And online jigsaw puzzles can be fun. It's good to have these things to do especially in the hot weather when you're stuck indoors!

Hey Katy, sorry for just replying now.

I've heard of that movie but never watched it, or TV show, whatever it is.

I don't watch movies much but my favourite is The Departed, seen that heaps & I love it.

For suggestions I'd say The Departed, Are You Being Served (loved that show since I was a kid, & the movie & sequel (watched the sequel episodes on Youtube, since all the DVD copies I can find are too pricey & come from overseas)), Anger Management (that's hilarious), & probably a few others. Oh Terms Of Endearment is also a beautiful but sad movie. Depends what you like really.

I don't watch much TV either, have to be in the mood. Hope you're alright today.

Love and hugs,

Tayla x

Hey Hanna, apologies for just replying now. Thanks for saying so.

Oh the online Jigsaw things sound fun, do you know any websites and/or apps where I can find any, for free please?

I have one to do that I got from a shop here but I haven't done it yet. I have to be in the mood for reading, writing, watching movies & TV, etc.

And yep being stuck indoors can be annoying. I really wish it was Autumn and Winter, although the storms and rain can be a pain, sometimes better than this extremely hot weather though, right? It was nearly 50 degrees here today in Regional VIC, wow!

Love and hugs,

Tayla x

oh i remember sending a friend the other day a really long list of steam recs for him... im mostly somewhere around puzzle/simulation and i accidentally end up reccing All the "walking sims" lmfao.

i know two mobile apps which are paid ones but would really recommend but theyre both ports of niche ass ds games that i ended up liking. ones a good mystery thats a little under the radar when they haven't heard of a much more popular ds game series and the other is uh. "i think this is a great game people should play but its so hard to recommend and tbh i only fell so deep into it bc that happens to games you play during the middle of awfully bad episodes. also it just happened to have a mobile port"
