Wasnt sure what topic to out this under..
Basically im a semi decent boxer and recenetly went from a beginner class to a fighters class where after a while of developing better skills we can actually fight in matches.
Anyways i wanted to know do i actaully want this or do i want people to see that i habe it and if it is a bit of both is that okay? Like genuinely i always look forward to gping to boxing whenever i can go and i always leave the gym happy but being able to post that i am a fighter would be so cool and then i feel like i can be more sure of myself ( can defend myself in a particilar sistiatuon )
Anyways thabks for reading and if you have any thoughts pls reply

Dear Supadupacoolguy~
I read your other post in which you said that you have not formed many friendships at school and were unhappy with school as a result. Indigo gave you some good advice.
While it is tempting to think if you could say you were a fighter you might gain more respect and possibly friendship I"m not sure things happen that way.
It is probably your likely you will end up wiht sparring partners as freinds, having a common cause and seeing each other each practice. Those at schcoll may not find boxing that interesting, which is a pity.
It is an activity that promotes physical fitness, skills, self confidence and determination, plus the ability to live wiht fear at times. All things that are well worth having. You will have the knowledge htat you are doing something real, better than anyone at that select school.
You mentioned you look forward to the sessions, and feel good afterwards, I'd guess that is a sure sign you like boxing for itself. As you become more into the advanced sections you are going to be able to enjoy and feel proud of your skills.
That really is enough to keep on doing it for it's own sake. While announcing you are a fighter might be a pleasant dream that leads to popularity, it is just that - a dream.
Popularity may come, but if so it may be do to the fact others simply like you, something that needs no boost.
If you would like to keep on talking that would be great

Hi Supadoopacoolguy!
I think what you’re experiencing is totally normal! I’m not so much of a sporty person but have recently started my fitness journey at the gym and totally get where you’re coming from! I’m still new and finding my feet but when I finish at the gym I feel so great! And I also wanna post that I’m there, I feel like it comes from a place of being proud of ourselves for doing something that can often be hard to start and working hard to stay consistent (for me that’s a hard one!). I also experience this in my crafting endeavours and have posted my creations in the past from a place of pride for giving it a go (even when they don’t turn out to look like what I wanted them to!).
I say stay proud of yourself! All good things follow when you stay true to yourself and don’t worry about others perceptions of you only your own! 🫶
