I'd like to use this pace for miscellaneous matters that don't fit elsewhere or you think I might help
Thanks

hi croix typos i can handle but if forget to use grammar or pun-u-a-shun that things get to be a struggle and not fbeing able to work out where one sentence finsihs and another one starts make it a problematic read and then you to arrrrrgghhhh were is the bacspace key.
here is a challenge for you... write a post without using the backspace or delete key and without editing. One way I could learn to deal with perfection issues (for myself).

Tim and Croix,
Welcome to my world of typos and imperfection.
I do edit, delete, punctuate and check spelling but my computer has a gremlin who changes my corrected post and magically fill it with typos and grammatical errors.

Guess your post with one word did that.... I first thought was, OK you accepted the challenge. And then it hit me. That post was it. aaaaarrggghhhhh! You got me.
@quirky - the post I had responded was Croix mentioning the lack of a edit facility. Little irritation of mine also, but also aware why it does not appear. So I did my worst in one part for Croix to decipher. We share your pain also about that computer gremlin. Cause the lack of a comma or similar can change the meaning of what is meant.

Dear Quirky and all~
Now that would be a significant labor saving device! - A computer that magically types in all the typos and errors for me. Think of all that work I've had to do to put them in. Now all I would have to do is the corrections - do you want to lend me your computer for a bit?

Dear Moon
Seeing you are into Katie Scarlett O'Hara quotes now she also said:
Ooh, if I just wasn't a lady, WHAT wouldn't I tell that varmint!
A useful phrase! 😒

Hello Mr Croix...
I have been thinking about you dear Mr Croix and wondering how you are....
I had a listen to Erik Satie's - "Gymnopédies". I liked it..Theres something soothing in listening to a piano solo and a electric guitar solo....also the wind pipe...
How are you liking the cold weather..where I am it’s minus 3-4 most nights and under 15 through the days...I often think of you sitting in front of your warm crackling fire in your arm chair, reading a book 📖, with Sumo cat asleep on you...makes a nice picture for a winter ❄️ advertisement...
I hope your doing better then okay and keeping nice and warm...
Sending you some love and hugs...I hope it’s okay with Mrs Croix...💜💜🤗🤗🤗..
Wishing you a good relaxing and refreshing sleep 💤..and some pleasant dreams...

Dear Grandy
I've been reading your and DB's threads though as usual not saying much. That hip sounds a pain, is it something you might need to replace some time? The cold cannot help, it was -5.5 last night and going there again tonight I think. I have to let the car run in the morning to warm up. No, the colder weather is not good, I prefer temperate by a long way nowadays.
I read you've been having lots of visits from support folks, I hope they are not too overwhelming.
Yes I'm in front of the fire again, about to shut it down and retire for the night. Sumo Cat does not like that, the room gets colder and he has to get up and find a warmer place (the bedroom of course).
Gymnopédies is particularly good if you watch the YouTube version with the French impressionist paintings of Paris as a sort of slide-show
Ta for the hug

Hello Mr Croix...
Feels comforting knowing your reading my thread thank you...
My gp told me a hip replacement later on probably will be needed...I’ve never had an operation or under anathetic..(can’t spell it)..I’m a bit worried about it but not thinking about it either as it might never happen...
Its either drought or famine with the mhw out here..I find it all a bit much but better then none at all so I’m trying my best to not feel overwhelmed...
I listened again to Gymnopedies on YouTube and watched the French impressionist painting of Paris..I enjoyed both the music and vid...
Awe..I think Sumo just wants to be close to you Mr Croix...
Enjoy your fire tonight..keep warm and plenty of vitamin C for you both....Take care of each other dear Mr Croix...
love and hugs..💜🤗..
