Oh, yes, I forgot to wish you a Happy Birthday Croix! Happy Birthday!

There is something most comical about the thought of a flying walrus 😂 I think it is something to do with the tusks and a kind of befuddled expression, as if to say, "I don't think I'm meant to be able to fly".

Yes, you are right MK, pigs are the most intelligent and clean of creatures, contrary to assumptions about them.

Sleep well and maybe we will dream of flying pigs (as the kiwis have been doing for a long time now).

Hugs,

ER

MK, I thought you might like to know I’m looking after GFC at the moment. She did zoomies earlier. She meowed that she would love to play with LRC. She is now on my lap purring and I’m covered in grey fluff!

Hugs from me and purrs from GFC 🐱

Oh was it Croix' birthday??  I didn't know. That would mean he is a Sagittarius...like me.  No wonder we are both so intelligent, creative, imaginative, forthright and talented....hey doncha reckon Croix?  Are you a Sagittarius too?.....(. I have been away and all went well.   It was wonderful to be with my son.  I love him so much and his children are intelligent and loving too)......Moon.  S

Dear Moon and all~

Thank you for the happy birthdays, though personally I prefer to forget them as I consider I'm quite old enough already:) If I get too old I'll no longer be so frequently mistaken for Arnie.

You said "so intelligent, creative, imaginative, forthright and talented", well you'll have to speak for yourself, Mrs C says men can only do one thing at once and you have listed 5, so I"m lost:(

E.R.: How come kiwis dream of flying pigs? Maybe pink elephants might be an option?

Dear All,

Moon, I am so happy you enjoyed your trip and that it was so wonderful to be with him and his children.

Croix, with the kiwis I was thinking of a comment made earlier by MK that tge flying pigs won’t be so unusual for the kiwis given the things they see in their inebriated state, so I was imagining them dreaming of them too 🐷

MK, tonight GFC jumped onto my lap and sneezed directly in my face before settling down for evening pats and purring. I am hoping I don’t get cat flu!

May you all sleep peacefully tonight 😴

ER Cats don't have flus - except for being cosy places where they can get warm, they have nearly nothing in common with fireplaces & chimneys.

About the flying pigs as possibly seen by inebriated kiwis, (truly entirely possible), you might blame my muddled brain for mistaking flying pigs for gaudy pink pigs.

I wonder where the idea came from that people who drink to excess will hallucinate pink pigs?

GFC & I will certainly have grand zoomies, when I finish transforming the top of the iceberg into a maze of ramps & slides - it 'll be a case of "Look Croix, no feeeeeets!" or, "was that a kiwi? I thought I heard a teeny-tiny squeak & felt a leetle bump. Wonder where it is now?", then, "Oh, that's not a chocolate ice block." & "I thought the stick was a little curved." ...

Oh, & Croix, do you suppose I can have my Perloined Penguin back, if you haven't got it stuck on a Sagitarian Arrow, I mean?.

Professor Porpoise has a new research project delving into how the genetics of a Centaur & a Walrus got mixed & what possible varients of the hybrid there can be.

Dear MK and All,

A centaur and walrus - how fascinating! It could be called a Centrus or a Waltaur. Given the already hybrid nature of the centaur the variants offer an interesting range of possibilities.

I very much look forward to grand zoomies! Hee hee! I must sleep now to restore my energy to full zoomies capacity. May everyone’s batteries recharge from a wonderful sleep 😴

Hugs,

Dear mmMekitty and all

The purloined 🐧, like hte letter, was in plain sight all the time, so indeed you cna have it back.

As for Sagittarian arrows, I have none, I'm a walrus (pure bred), not a centaur.

"when I finish transforming the top of the iceberg into a maze of ramps & slides"

one more my long-suffering iceberg is being carved up -sigh:(

If you had a flying feline you could say it Flew/Flu

I think there must be a Sagittarian Centaur in every Walrus - where else could they so completely have disappeared from view?

I got my new hearing aid today. It has been 'paired' to my iPhone so I can hear & answer calls directly via my hearing aids. She made it look so easy, once I explained how to use my phone with Voice Over on.

Now I will hear all the murmurings, tip-toeing, & even the slightest sliding of flippers, all the midnight susurrations between snoozing kiwis ...  Oh My Whiskers, what have I done?

'Centrus' sounds plausible, but 'Walsaur' made me laugh, so I, naturally, like that one better.

However, if all Professor Porpoise does is to swap flippers for hooves, the outcome could be tragic. Imagine trying to gallop on flippers, or to veg out on an iceberg with those long legs & hooves, or a human upper half with those tusks & whiskers? & I"m not sure how a Centaur's digestive system could cope with a Walrus's diet, & vice versa.

Good evening MK, Croix and All,

Hmmm, yes, many logistical issues there MK. For some reason I can imagine a walrus top half on a horse body. Maybe this is a Horlrus? This would be a feisty creature indeed, able to both gallop and fend off enemies with impressive tusks. A Horlrus may actually do well on a fishy diet with all those Omega 3s.

Your new hearing aid sounds amazing MK. It’s wonderful it can be paired with the iPhone and you can take calls that way. But, yes, you’ll be hearing every creak in the iceberg and all the timbres of a snoring kiwi!

Hugs,

ER
