Hi Monsieur Croixy man 🐧 and everyone ☺

Bit of a 😆 when word predict put up monster when I was writing Monsieur

I think often of people I care about and our dear warrior Magic 🐒 beat me to asking how you're going.

Shame about the walking if I remember you said you're not up to. The memories can be good triggers

I miss mine but intend to start doing babysteps. Couple of short hills here will do for a starter with my darling. It's refreshing being out and looking around isn't it.

Hopefully the nice cranky pants Duck will always give you peaceful no maybe wrong word ... how bout amusing memories and of the water. Hope you get to do this again in the future.

How's the body and back behaving otherwise and your mh?

I woke way too early today to be hearing the birdies chatting but how beautiful I think was a Butcher Bird. I think they have more than one call. This was a slow smooth solid sound in batches of maybe 2/3 varying tunes but that's just one type of their sounds I think the others similar or is a warbler. Not thinking of Magpie they have a superb warbler.

Looking forward to walking in water in the summer. Gotta be something good about it blaghh to the heat. Would that maybe be easier for you

Don't know if you had any summer in Auckland. The temps there are max around 26 ° but equivalent to a steamy 34 plus here. Humidity's high there. It's similar to Melbourne with 4 seasons of weather in minutes at times.

Hope is it angry cat or Cranky cats behaving and other puddy tats good and of course you're lovely Mrs Croixy ☺

I think of youse sitting in front of the fire. Such a cosy scene in winter.

Ok so take good care Mr very valued appreciated Croixy. You're a very wise man and kind helping people like you do and an absolute master at expressing yourself. Only thing missing is you need to learn the real lingo. NZ'ese 😅

Hope you're taking note of a mere slither of only 7 emojis today. My ...what a treat. I figure at least you put random out so I can return the favour only occasionally mind you (winking emoji)

Hmmmm must round up the band...being Grandy and I to check out the acoustics on your Iceberg. Might just have to move a few things out the way so we can set up if you don't mind there Mr. I know you'd have to be missing our band practice.

See yaz, take good care always. (( hugs)) to anyone needing. Finding ways around emoji limit lol

Dear Moon~

This thing all things devours;
Birds, beasts, trees, flowers;
Gnaws iron, bites steel;
Grinds hard stones to meal;
Slays king, ruins town,
And beats mountain dow

Hint: Alter the spelling, make it cross and think of a bank you know

Dear DB

Actually I prefer your way around emojis, mainly becuse I do not know what they all mean.

No, back a nuisance, I was out to a strange building in town today and had to estimate the number of footsteps before deciding to go, a right pain. Still I went to an interesting event, it was worth it.

Now you leave my (heated) iceberg alone. Saw off part of NZ and float on that. I don't think I've ever been to Auckland except to disembark from a plane and hire a car (then headed south looking for Footrot Flats.).

It was the first year NZ had GST and we had lots of 'negotiations' about adding extra to marked prices.

One day Mrs C and I will take the train from the of of the North to around the South Island, a lovely way to travel with a boat trip in the middle. I'll take her to see the glowworms.

It's nice to hear from you, you sound in good spirits despite those pesky birds waking you up early,

We have Superb Wrens 🐦, who do not arise until a civilized hour.

Ummm Commonwealth??

Have to tell you a funny story... I was in the city once upon a time and there was a HUGE Commonwealth Bank building with a painted ad on the side all over the windows...

With the spelling Commonwealht Bank...LOL! I should have closed my account then...

Perhaps ...a bank where the wild thyme grows...?

Dear Moon~

There is no fooling you is there? I believe at the time that was written at the end the 16th century thyme was supposed to aid sleep and ward off nightmares.

Maybe I should try it 🙂

The riddle of time itself came from a very much later (20th century) work

Dear Croix, Moon, Eco...

I was thinking about your riddle..it was way over my head, as most riddles are...Well done Moon for getting it right...

I haven’t used thyme in my cooking..maybe I’ll give it a try..

I read that people used to wear thyme around their necks when the Black Plague hIt...to help protect them....

If you're right Croix.....my first stop will be the herb section of the supermarket...and will sprinkle thyme liberally all over my food, on my pillow, between the sheets...everywhere. So I might smell like a roast chicken? Doesn't matter....I will sleep soundly and have no nightmares..(perhaps an ass but no mares)...

I never had a chance at solving that riddle either Grandy lol!

We can leave those to the others...

Actually ROSEMARY is a brilliant herb to induce calm and sleep too.

I love the smell of Lavender... that's supposed to help induce peaceful sleep also.

I use lavender disinfectant to wash my floors... in the hopes the kids will sleep! lol.
They do, it's peaceful here now.
