hi, thought i would start a thread on motorcycles.

any type of motorcycle from minibikes, scooters ,commuters and super-sport too touring motorcycles.............cruisers.

any type of sport regarding motorcycles including the ones you participate in personally on track or just riding for fun like weekend rides and group rides, big social rides like the black dog ride or other events, and of course tv watched events like the moto gp and others.

and most importantly any one who has always dreamed of riding but for some reason never has,or who owns a bike but for some reason can't ride at the moment or like me,i thought i couldn't ride but i can.

older motorcycles like Triumphs suicidal gear stick , BSA Norton ecc..whether you still got one or use to ride one.

Hi dueb,

Just recalling a fund ride i was a pillion on and it had over 100 bikes and they were all Harleys. Even though the weather was not the best everyone sucked it up and finished the day ride. OMG the ground shook when all the bikes started up.

I was very lucky to have a full face on but my poor husband had just a skull cap on and i swear his face was blue when we finished. HA HA HA

Love to experience something like that again on a better day.

Hi guys, thanks for your warm welcome.

Please excuse my memory as it doesn't give actual detail out on names and models.

When I was just 16 I left school and went to work on my uncles sheep/wheat property. Couple of days in my uncle turns up with a brand new ag bike. I was so excited but never new the power of such a bike,I got on,started it and drove straight into a shed, well that was a very quick lesson learnt.

My hubby has some old bikes 80s I think but have told him to sell them as he just bought a Torana!

So about 3 weeks after I met my now husband,he says come on we are going riding in the sand dunes, awesome I say, that will be a piece of cake.

Aftere had doubled me on his trick,up and over all around the sand dunes,I say ok my turn,

holly crap batman,it was so hard to steer,I couldn't stop laughing, said this is bs and handed the reigns back to him.

riding in the dust and mud is not an easy task, plus the cleaning and servicing must be overwhelming, good on you 9 names later,i understand its a big effort.

hi 73Bonneville i wouldn't mind knowing moor about your triumph or triumph's?

regards tony

Hi Tony,

It's a 1973 Triumph T140V. First of the 750's. Last one with the gearshift and brake the other way around.
