hi, thought i would start a thread on motorcycles.

any type of motorcycle from minibikes, scooters ,commuters and super-sport too touring motorcycles.............cruisers.

any type of sport regarding motorcycles including the ones you participate in personally on track or just riding for fun like weekend rides and group rides, big social rides like the black dog ride or other events, and of course tv watched events like the moto gp and others.

and most importantly any one who has always dreamed of riding but for some reason never has,or who owns a bike but for some reason can't ride at the moment or like me,i thought i couldn't ride but i can.

older motorcycles like Triumphs suicidal gear stick , BSA Norton ecc..whether you still got one or use to ride one.

Hi Tony,

As soon as you exit my driveway you have a down hill sweeping corner just have to keep an eye out for the unexpected. Heaps of twist and turns where i live and it is just out of Brisbane.

On day i was going to join a group for a ride and found out the ride was going to be a long one so i asked another group where they were going and joined there ride. [love that] Also have a good laugh when you start off in a group and one person takes a wrong turn and half the group goes with the confused one.

When i had my bike i sometimes just geared up without a plan by myself and took an adventure. The thing i like about that was you could stop when you wanted and there was no time restraints.

Loved going for a ride with two friends who had a trike as they had a big boot and we could pack a bbq lunch so we could have a cook up at lunch. Backpacks can sometimes become uncomfortable so i did my best to carry as little as possible.

Chatting about riding makes me realise how much i enjoyed this hobby.

Hey,

I grew up going to my uncles sheep station in mid Nsw for holidays. That's where I learnt to ride. I have an awesome memory of that full on freedom, peace, mindfulness, and just being me.

Over the years I have and still have that very lucky feeling on properties that we go camping on. There is so much fun when mustering on a bike cause you never know what's ahead.

I would love for one day to go on many bike runs such as the many around Australia, just don't know where all the rest of my likes would fit.

Was this just for boys?

Hi 9 names later,

No this post is not just for boys. Many people ride bikes or have ridden bikes in the past have posted here.

That is the beauty of going on a ride with others you have a love that is the same. When you meet up, you jump on your machine and become one, then enjoy the sights heading towards the finish.

Have a good mate who has organised heaps of rides with different ages, male and female and different bikes. Also have found people out of the groups who i have gone riding with on other occasions.
