Hello,
Can anyone advise me if a tingling/hot scalp is a symptom of anxiety please? This has occurred in the last 24 hours and comes and goes. I'm not well at the moment, my Gastric Reflux Disease is creating hell with my body and I have to have a series of blood tests tomorrow. Like a lot of you I suffer mainly from health anxiety and my biggest fear is that this is another symptom my poor old brain will have to get used too. Having a lot of trouble shifting the knot of fear in my stomach. Goes well with gastric problems (not)!! On the other hand, my brain fears I have some sort of disease. Such a vicious cycle.
Any advice gratefully received.
King regards
Glenda

Hi roogirl/Glenda,
I have had this happen before. Not often but sometimes. What I find is that when something 'out of the ordinary' happens to my body, my body becomes hyper-aware. So sometimes it's something I may not have noticed but when I first notice it, it's difficult to 'un notice it'.
Here for you!

Hi there Missep,
Thanks for the reply and kind words. Yes you are right, once the mind focus's on a particular thing, it won't let go and you keep thinking. Hopefully, this too shall pass!!

Hi there Mocha Delight,
Yes any sort of gastric issues are very hard to live with. I've had problems with my gastric system since I was 17 and have GERD plus a small hiatus hernia which was diagnosed last year. It causes all sorts of problems with your body and makes you feel utterly miserable when you have the symptoms that are associated. I guess we battle on and hope for better days both with our gut problems and anxiety.
Best wishes
Glenda

Seems to have settled down for now. Wish I could same the same for my gastric reflux. Still sick and feeling weak and miserable. Thanks for caring. Much appreciated.
