Sickness/Throat Anxiety symptoms

Hi, I have been diagnosed with mild OCD and Anxiety and i am 17. Recently i have been really worried about just getting sick like a cold because i don’t want to give my gf anything and it stops me from like being close to her and kissing her cause i’m scared i have something. I have had a bit of a sore throat ever i started thinking about it and it kind of like a stabbing pain when i swallow slightly and it’s like a big few days coming up for me and her and i’m really worried that if i kiss her i might give her something but i don’t know if i have anything, can anxiety cause pain like this in the throat or have i got like an infection or something because it’s only a little sore when i swallow

Thanks for stopping by- throat pain can be annoying, especially when we don't know its cause or it stops us from being close to loved ones. I recommend going to a GP just to clear things up medically- they can also advise you if it's linked to your anxiety/OCD diagnosis too and recommend further help if required.
