Hello Queen Diamond, I've noticed a few threads from you along similar lines, and I worry that you are replacing Google with these forums as a way of trying to alleviate your health anxiety. I can't see this being a very good solution. If I were to tell you, yes I do have a pulse in my throat, that may make you feel better for a little while, until you find something else that worries you, and then you'll post another thread.
Perhaps it might be more helpful if we talk about how we can help you better cope with these anxious, compulsive feelings around symptoms, so that you don't spend hours online trying to find an answer that will never be satisfactory. I worry that this is very circular.

Hi JessF;
Thank you for your reply and your concern however I'm not sure what threads you may be referring to. I have created a thread relating to Health Anxiety and Google asking for anyone's ideas on strategies or experience with obsessive symptom researching but I don't see this as detrimental to managing my anxiety.
In relation to this post I recognize what you are saying but just wanted to reiterate I am not using BB as another forum to research symptoms but find out whether what I am experiencing can be attributed to anxiety. Throughout my years of dealing with anxiety I have discovered it can produce many varied and at times seemingly strange physical symptoms and/or make the anxiety sufferer notice and become concerned over normal bodily functions or sensations. Reading other mental health forums I have seen many others comment on being able to feel or see palpitations in various spots on their body which made me wonder whether this was a common occurance amongst anxiety sufferers. 🙂
