Hi Semolinah,
I have had a similar reaction to my medication too. I wasn’t eating too well because of anxiety and depression. I was concerned when starting my meds as I read that there was a chance it would affect my appetite.
I guess what I have done to make sure I am getting nutrients is have small meals, like a few mouths full and snacks of fruit available. Lots of water too (which has been a huge help in the hot weather). It has been challenging sometimes to get the food in my mouth but if I’m not rushing to eat it I feel less pressure to force feed myself.
For the other problems I would definitely speak to your doctor about it. They will hopefully have a solution for the reflux and constipation.
good luck
e

Thanks for this. I've been trying that, but eating small meals every couple of hours (banana, bread, muesli bar), but in the end it adds up to about 2000kj.
Yesterday, however, I started to get really restless and my anxiety levels were through the roof after ten days on the tablets. They think I might have been having a reaction to the combination of the drugs. Fun.

I am glad to hear you are still managing to get food into your system. I wasn't so much concerned with the kj count for myself when I started the meds more the fact I had some food going in.
I hear the first few weeks can be the toughest. I know that around the 10 day mark I had a sudden plunge back into anxiety but I was able to recognise it a bit better and make sure I took care of myself until I got a bit of stability under my feet again.
Today has been a tough day as I have just returned to work, but again being aware of it helped me cope until I could breathe a little bit better.
Always remember there a people to help support you here on these forums 🙂
I hope your adverse reaction calms down and you can get onto feeling stronger.
