Medication is only one of many ways of dealing with anxiety. On its own it is often not sufficient. Are you getting help to better understand the reasons for your anxiety? If not do so. The best place to begin is to get to know yourself better. To become more conscious of yourself, your thoughts, attitudes, beliefs and so on because we are often the creator of much of the anxiety we experience because some of our thoughts and beliefs have little or no basis in reality. Rather than concerning yourself with when you will start feeling better again (as that can make one anxious) it would be better to get help to understand the things that are making you anxious since you cannot change the causes of your anxiety until you become aware of them.......................................I wish I could give you a date and time for your question but the more active you are in helping yourself and the more honest you are if you see a counselor the sooner that will be. If you post again could you provide more information about your situation as that will be helpful to others in responding to your post. Philip.

Hi Zouzou,
Thanks for reaching out to BB.
This is probably a question best directed to your pharmacist or GP. I know from personal experience they have said 4-6 weeks is a good guideline of when your body will start to level out but this can vary widely person to person. It's always best to note any side effects that you are having too if they are bothering you so you can address them.
Hope this helps 🙂

Hi zouzou,
I can really relate to the difficulties of dealing with anxiety when you have a partner and family to think about. It can be such a struggle juggling everyday responsibilities with anxiety looming. I struggle mostly when my kids are sick.
Best of luck with your journey
