Dear Mickey1~

Welcome here to the Forum, a good place to see how others have coped.

Although I have severe anxiety at time it has not affected my ability to walk fast. It has made me not want to walk somewhere at all, and has filled my mind with anxious thoughts so I do not concentrate on what I'm doing.

I have a number of physical reactions to anxiety including such things such as chest pain or as the shakes stopping me writing with a pen rather than a keyboard, however each has been tested multiple times before anxiety was identified as the cause. If it is something physical then proper treatment can be started.

Can I suggest that if you have not done so already you see your GP and get tested to see if in fact this inability has a physical rather that an anxiety cause.  Then explain your anxiety symptoms, and see what happens. That was the start of my improvement as anxiety can be treated.
