I started having anxiety attacks about 6 months ago. I am on meds and seeing a spycologist but it does not seem to be going away? Will I ever be myself again? I miss the outgoing, carefree me. I feel like my husband and child is suffering due to me not being able to get this under control. Please help.

Hello and warm welcome to the forums. You have come to the right place where we are all going through our own mental health challenges and support each other.
Really sorry to hear, anxiety attacks can be very overwhelming and can interfere with your daily life. Glad to hear you are seeking professional help.
Apart from medications, mindfulness can be incredibly helpful in calming the mind in a natural way. Also, engaging in physical activity or going for nature walks can do the trick.
Have you tried volunteering? It really gives you a sense of purpose and at the same time you are giving back to others.
Hope this helps. Happy to listen and support if you need...
Take care

I feel for you so much, especially with you having found no relief. I'm wondering whether you know what's triggered the anxiety and whether the attacks come on gradually or suddenly for good reason or no apparent reason.
