I hope you are both doing okay! I am sorry that you are both feeling so horrible right now. I can't even tell you how many times I have felt the same.
I know from personal experience that it is not always easy to seek help, especially when we are feeling like this, and being social to tell people how you are feeling feels almost impossible.
I find that when I am feeling like this I like to cuddle up with a pet or teddy bear and i sometimes talk to them about what I am feeling. I also allow myself to feel what I need to feel. If I am feeling sad I tend to give myself time to just sit with my sadness, cuddle up in a blanket and just feel.
I know that everyone says to go outside to get some sun and air, and to exercise, and although that scientifically is proven to help I find that when I am really struggling they are too difficult for me to do.
I sit with how I am feeling and allow myself to talk out loud to myself, pet, toy, the air, or write down how I am feeling, my thoughts. It doesn't have to make sense, it doesn't have to be perfect just let yourself rant and say what you need to say.
I also find if you have smeone you can trust talking to them may be hepful. There are numerous phone helplines you can call that will be more than happy to listen and help, beyond blue have one, or you can google mental health hotlines and I am sure some will pop up, as well as the immediate support button on the top right side of the forum. There are also chat functions where you can text professionals to help; I know headspace have one.
I hope this helped give you some ideas on how to get through this, I'm sorry if it didn't, but you both have my support and you will get through this. This feeling won't be forever.

Hi,
I get how ur feeling. I have been feeling like that too. I feel that when I get upset, angry or stressed I feel a wave of emotions overcome me and I can't control them. But I do know family comes in hand in these situations and especially friends you can trust. Therapy is not a bad start if you don't think you can talk to them. If you want to talk, I am here for you.

I’m so sorry to hear that you are feeling such negative emotions. It can be extremely frustrating and scary. Plus many more totally valid emotions. It’s quite honourable and brave of you to reach out for help when you felt you needed it. Congratulations!!
I too find that I struggle with my emotions and understanding to cope. I have been told to journal, practice gratefulness, immerse myself in my hobbies, but none of those worked like reaching out to professional help. Here at beyond blue you can access all kinds of services, and you may find that it becomes your knight in shining armour. When I reached out, I was still in my teens, scared and genuinely tired from everything. But talking with someone who knew what they were doing gave me confidence and new perspective. Sometimes that’s all you need. Give it a try, and see how it goes!
