I think I work the site out at last. Wish it was so easy to work my anxiety out. I can't be anywhere with to many people are. Took me over  two years just to go to the doctor now have to make myself go again thinking about it makes me sick. Just thinking making an appointment is enough. It's hard when I have no one yo talk to. Spend most of my time at home

Hi there All Alone (I was going to abbreviate that, but that would have been AA and that could either link you to Alcoholics Anonymous or that you’re some kind of small battery, so I’ll definitely stick with All Alone)

And now I’d also like to welcome you to Beyond Blue and thank you for providing your post.

You know, what might help at this stage also is if you can float around this website for a while – and see if you can pick up on other people’s posts they’ve made that might sound similar in style to yours.  With that, you can quite often pick up other responses and advice that have been given;  tips for people with what really appears to be like a social stigma.    It can be beneficial.

May I ask, do you live alone or are you with family (or perhaps friends or a partner)?   I’ve covered a few bases there.

With regard to you visiting a doctor, I’m sure the act of even being there could be stressful for you and to talk to the doctor about how you are feeling?  Do you think it might be a useful idea to perhaps type down (maybe in dot point fashion) how you feel, what causes you stress, other issues and factors into how you are;  whether you sleep ok, etc?   So you can possibly give this to your doctor and they can read through it and go from there.  From that, they will be able to ask you other possible questions, so they can be better informed to assist you as best they can.

Would really like to hear back from you.

Kind regards

Neil
