Hi, welcome
Thats not a good start to your day. We are people with a mental illness of some kind that can assist you with our own lived experiences. We are not trained professionals and cannot diagnose you.
However in my time I have had similar and have created boundaries with people and locations so I can cope with life with less issues like the one that came along for you.
Relaxation is underrated so I would learn some breathing exercises and muscle tensioning exercises best before you go to sleep so you get a good night rest. You'll wake up so much better.
The other thing is sometimes we are unaware of the "trigger" that started us feeling nervous. Think about what has caused you stress that week or what you are about to face that day like facing the boss or a friend or a conflict. Sort those things out better and you'll reduce the frequency of your episodes.
We have a lot of topics in our library, just use search and go from there. eg type in - anxiety, how I eliminated it. There you'll find one of my posts on how I managed to now very rarely have a nervous period.
I hope that helps. Reply anytime

Hi there,
I just wanted to start of by saying how brave of you it is to seek out help when you are feeling this way. I know how difficult it can be. Already by submitting this post, you are not only helping yourself but also others who are experiencing something similar.
I am all too familiar with the feelings you are experiencing. The physiological symptoms of anxiety can feel super scary and overwhelming, and I have had days where I haven't gone to work or cancelled plans with friends because it just feels too heavy. When I feel this way, one perspective I find helps is to remember how intelligent your body is, so even when you are experiencing this shakiness and heart racing, it is your body signalling to you that it needs a break. Our bodies speak to us through these uncomfortable symtoms to let us know it is in overdrive.
Little strategies that help me are deep belly breathing for ten breaths, really making sure to feel into your body and remind it that there is nothing to be afraid of. If the physical discomfort feels too much, try an activity that diverts your focus from the body, for example listening to music and dancing, reading, exercise or even calling a friend for a chat. I always find that when I do one of these things I start to feel a little bit better.
I hope some of this helps. We are not qualified on this forum so this advice comes purely from lived experience. Write back at some stage if you would like to continue the conversation. 🙂

Hello Shark, a warm welcome to the forums
Really sorry to hear you had a good start and then you started to feel anxious. Anyone can feel anxious at times but that does not mean something is wrong with you and you are not alone.
If I may ask and if you feel like sharing, did anything happen to trigger your anxiety and make you feel this way?
Sudden onset of anxiety can be best controlled with relaxation techniques. Sometimes, when I overthink and become anxious, deep breathing and mindfulness really works for me - makes me remember that the anxious state is temporary and will pass. Listening to music, exercise, visualization strategies also help, I try to pick an image that's soothing and calming - like a cozy place, beach or nature.
Hope this helps and you feel better. Happy to listen and support if you want to chat more...
Take care
