I’m a lean girl but I saw my weight today I wanted to cry i feel like a large elephant. Can someone help me not fear food

Hi G12345,

Thank you for your post and I'm sorry that you're feeling like an elephant! I hear you - eating and body image issues are so so hard.

One thing to not fear food that you might be interested in is a concept called 'Intuitive Eating' - the idea is that when we need to go to the toilet we go because it's our bodies needs and it's no big deal, but for some reason when we get hungry we feel so much emotion around it - even though it's food and our body needs it too. If you are interested in it you could look at seeing a dietician or I'm happy to share books etc
