Hey Ben,
I hope you are well!
I'm only a young teenager and have depersonalisation as well and have suffered with it for nearly 2 years. It sucks honestly and I know exactly how you feel. I've had the exact symptoms as you and I was also wondering if you ever get random bouts of anger or always being moody for no reason? Like I always want to hit something or someone. I also agree that DDD should be more recognised. I went to the psychologist last year but she didnt help me and when I told her about this she kind of blew it off. I also have multiple types of anxiety and have depression in saying that, my DDD formed over being so overwhelmed all the time that my body feels the need to disconnect itself from my mind. Its truamatic honestly. And even if It does go away, will I still experience it?? Anyways, I hope this makes you feel less alone.
Keep well,
Bloom
