Hi I think have this Cherophobia and wonder if anyone else has this.

I am scared when I am happy that something bad will happen as this is the usual case with me all out through my life.I seem to want to be unhappy and just waiting for something bad to happen. How do i overcome this fear or do I just live with it as this is the safe option.I am scared of heights so i stay away from hsights so do i just stay away from happiness?

Your thoughts are welcome.

Take care,

Mark.

Hi Tayla I had a really good day yesterday. My daughter has not been to school for the last 2 weeks from her anxiety and i have medical certificate for her for the school.Yesterday school rings up teachers ring up wanting to know why she isnt at school. But the strangers phone call was from her previous doctor wanting to know how she was going. So the school must have rung him.I have been sick with worry all night.I just dont know what to do.My daughter is seeing a psychiatrist and psychologist but they have no answers and now i feel like a bad parent.

Hey Mark.

I'm sorry to hear that, I hope you and your Daughter are OK and the rest of your family. Poor thing, I understand what it's like not going to school, I was the same, sometimes I only went for certain classes or didn't go at all or left early, it depends. Primary school I enjoyed a little more but I didn't like either school.

I hope your Daughter finds the Psychologist and Psychiatrist helpful.

You're not a bad parent, you're doing everything you can, at least you understand how your Daughter is feeling and you have a certificate for her, you're doing your best and that's all that you can do.

I hope things get better for all of you, take care.

Hi Tayla yes that was really good i hope he has a good week next week.He has school photos monday. It gets stressful having to kids that arnt going to school so its good when one has a good day.

I wish i was better at giving advice.I have been told i am a really good listener and easy to talk to.

Take care,

Your friend,

Mark.

You're good at giving advice Mark, and sometimes people, myself included, just need someone to talk to and be there for them or even just to listen and be understanding and empathetic, things like that. Which you are, so thank you, it means a lot and I enjoy talking with you.

I'm sorry that your kids are struggling with school and you have your own things to deal with, I wish I could help. But you're a great parent doing everything you can. You're doing your best and I'm sure they know and appreciate that and love you regardless just like you love them and do everything for them that you can. You're a great Dad in many ways.

Good luck with everything. I also had days where I didn't go to school at all or left early or went for certain classes like I said, or because something was on like an event or something, especially in high school. But I won't get into that because it just makes me sad, but it's fine.

Take care, love and hugs as always, forever your friend too.

You're welcome Mark and thank you for your kind words to me too, it means a lot.

You are a great Dad. I'm sorry you got picked on, I did too, I have my whole life online and in person. I'm sorry your Daughter feels that way, school is boring though, I agree. At least she's not being picked on though.

Take care also, forever your friend. Love and hugs as always.
