I'll tell you a bit about myself to start, if you're feeling up to it you could respond in the same fashion 🙂
Name: Chloe
Favourite sport: dancing (I dance in competitions)
Favourite hobby: listening to music
favourite food: pasta
favourite colour: yellow
favourite tv show/movie: Survivor
reason why you are on this forum: I have undiagnosed anxiety and most likely depression. This comes from the pressures of school, friendships, also my boyfriend broke up with me last year (he was and is my best friend but we are still in love it's complicated don't ask lol). All this compounds together and you just end up with one big hot mess aka me!
If you don't feel comfortable answering any questions then don't answer them. Don't feel pressured; also don't feel like you are going to be judged- I'm here to help you.

Thought it might be helpful if I continued with Chloe's idea ... strength in numbers and all that 🙂
Favourite sport: Motorbikes (I'm a semi-pro rider)
Favourite hobby: motorbikes again, and music - I'm a metal head \m/ *.* \m/
Favourite food: lasagne
Favourite colour: tie between blue and green
Why I'm on this forum: Suspect I have social anxiety disorder, am too scared to see a doc about it and thought this forum might help. I think I've always had it, but two main rough patches have made it worse; a sibling has autism and when they were a teen, they used to have what I call tantrums. We went through a few dinner sets during those years (laughs awkwardly). I never spoke about it to anyone for my sibling's sake. A few years later, same sibling was in an abusive relationship while living at home. Had 2 kids with this partner. Lasted about 4 yrs and, once again, I pretended it wasn't happening for my sibling's sake.
Main coping mechanism: distracting myself with music and motorbikes (not always helpful lol 🙂 )
Hope this helps. Remember, everyone here has gone through struggles. No one is judging you.

Hi Just_some_weird_chick, hope you are doing well!!
This is my first time on this forum and i'm only a young teenager.
i've been diagnosesd with social anxiety disorder by a doctor as well and i have missed a few days of school due to it. Some days can be really hard, but always remember to think positive and act positive. I've started to write down everything like my thoughts, worries, a goal i want to achieve and having a positive mindset. It has helped me a little bit but i am seeing a physcologist to help with it. What my advice would be to you is to see a doctor. it might help to get their advice and their oppinion. it might help you in the long run! i dont mean to pressure you or anything (i know how that feels) but it is up to you!
i hope this helps!

Hey Bloom,
Welcome aboard!
I'm a teenager too. What grade are you in? I'm in year 9. I have undiagnosed anxiety and depression.
Tell us a bit about yourself. Do you have your own thread?
Would be great to hear back from you xx
Chloe 🙂
