anxiety help

Hello guys well for the last like 2 year I have had anxiety and panic attacks. Now centrelink apparently won't accept any more medical exemption certificates because apparently they only accept so many before you are required to look for work or study. There is no way I am fit to work or study, i even tried doing this Civil construction course that they forced me to do but my anxiety started getting bad and i stopped. What can I do? M

Hi ozm8ey, sorry to hear you're having such difficulties. I don't know the system well enough to advise you on a course of action with Centrelink, but I suggest you go see your doctor or a counsellor and talk to them. They should know about medical exemption certificates etc. I'd also suggest do some Googling and see if you can learn more about the situation. Have you been on Centrelink's website? There should be a frequently asked questions or some such with information. There has to be a way through this for you.

I hope others will come along here with better advice. In the meantime, know that you are supported here. I hope that if you learn something useful about the system you will pass it on here.

Best wishes

Kaz
