Last few weeks at work I've felt extremely anxious receiving calls from customers and making outbound calls to customers. I have never felt like this before and have worked in the same industry for nearly ten years.
Not sure if it just nerves or lacking confidence. Let me know your thoughts.

Dear Nifty198807~
Welcome here to the Forum. A good move on your part as you can talk with people who may well have felt the same as you.
I guess the obvious thing to say is something may have changed, After 10 years you must at least have accepted the industry you work in, even if not greatly enjoyed it.
Now what sounds like something you have done countless times before is causing you to stress.
Does this ring a bell? Has something changed at work, are you under more pressure for some reason there or at home?
If nothing comes to mind I'd suggest a most productive first step (my apologies if you are already seeing a doctor) is to go see your doctor and in an extended consultation talk about the matter, and your overall circumstances. See what comes out of that .
Apart from medical support how about peronal support? Do you have friendly people at work to talk with who will help you ease your worries? Similarly do you have anyone outside work you can talk with and gain the feeling of being cared for? A family member or particular friend perhaps?
It would be really good if you came back and talked more, we do care and would not want you to feel alone

Hi Nifty,
Welcome to the Beyond Blue forums and thank you for being open here. It seems like you are feeling confused.
Have you seen your local GP about this? It may be a new change in your body. Asking a professional can really help you pinpoint what is happening.
Stay safe and I am always here to chat.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.
Would you like to share, how long have you been working on this role? what you think could be the reason? For example, you have a new tough boss? Or, you've done something wrong that led to customer complaints? Or, You are more worried about losing your job as getting older?
Or, maybe something happened in your life, or some change in your physical or mental health, that has affected your work situation, which you haven't realised?
If you feel comfortable to share, we're here to listen and give advice 🙂
Mark
