Anxiety and physical health.

I’ve had anxiety for like over two years now and it was awful at the start now I just feel it’s getting worse.

I was doing ok for about 8 months I even got a job and finally got my daughter back from dhs. During all this time I’ve had pains in my stomach and pains in my neck and just heavy headness and so dizzy and nauseous and I get headaches all the time, does anyone else have this? Does the pains in your body make you feel anxious?

I feel like I’m losing my mind my anxiety is just through the roof. The dr has said I should take antidepressants to calm down and my body will calm down also but I just had such a bad experience with anti depressants last year that it’s put me off

What you experience is very common. It is good that you are seeing a doctor. Since your anxiety is making you very unwell, medication may be needed to get things under control. Just to reassure you that there are so many different antidepressants out there. Just because you reacted badly to the one(s) that you tried, does not mean that you will react badly with others. Let your doctor what you tried last year. I am sure he/she can prescribe you different medication, and help find the right one(s) for you. Take care.

Hi thank you hope.for.the.best I have just started taking the anti depressant medications today and it’s awful same symptoms as last year but now with throwing up I hate this feeling can anyone give me some tips on how to ride it out?

Sorry to hear that the new med does not go with you. Have you spoken to your doctor about that?
