Hi Jazzy135,
Wellcome to our forums!
Im really sorry you are feeling this way, I understand.
I have a lived experience of severe anxiety OCD and I’ve now recovered thanks to the professional help I received.
I understand when you say that everyday we try to convince ourselves we have a disease…… it’s terrifying and exhausting!
I remember when I used to convince myself I’d have something really wrong with me, I’d get it checked and be told I was fine but I’d still obsess over it………… I understand it’s hard…..
Have you seeked help for what you are going through from a professional? You could do a mental health plan with your gp this will enable you to see a psychologist who can give you many strategies for anxiety.
If you are doctor googling please stop, I used to do this it only made things worse.

That’s ok Jazzy135, thanks 😊
I recommend you go back to see your gp and let them know how you are feeling currently.
Do you want to go back on meds…….? I believe if antidepressants work for you and make you feel better then that’s great.
I also believe therapy is great too so you can learn how to manage your anxiety.
I believe both go hand in hand
Its not nice feeling exhausted all the time.

I don't really like being on meds, they just kinda numb things but doesn't really cure anything. My anxiety is really bad so I don't have my driver's license still which makes it hard to see a counsellor without having to rely on others to take me. It's just frustrating I guess cause I wasn't always like this. What else helped you cope?

Hi there,
I am sorry you are going through this. Anxiety can be debilitating and make us mistake it for real symptoms.
for me, seeing a psychologist was really helpful to help with my anxiety. Is this something you could do?
write back if you need to talk,
jaz X

I understand, in my experience my anxiety was very severe so I was put on a antidepressant………. I don’t believe I would have got my anxiety under control without medication……
Once my anxiety was at a level I could manage I went to therapy and learned many strategies….
What helped get me through? I kept busy, I’d practice putting my attention on the present moment, deep breathing and meditation.
I understand we don’t like to reply on people but do you have any one in your family that could help you?
