Hi Jezbr,
Firstly, welcome to the forums.
Anxiety has many, many symptoms - mine is constant overthinking, heart racing, cold sweats, I have ringing in my ears too but never been told its stress and muscle tension, always assumed it was because I like loud music but could be that too - I also get headaches and occasional dizziness which also can be related to dehydration for me. I have had mini panic attacks before too. I don't think it is forever but more something you learn to control.
Are you seeing a psychologist to discuss your symptoms and what is causing them, that can help alleviate them to a degree?
My best for you,
Jay

Hi Jezbr,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for your post.
Jay (BballJ) is absolutely right. Anxiety has many, many symptoms. What anxiety looks and feels like for one person will be different to how anxiety looks and feels like for another.
The most common symptoms in anxiety are things such as racing heart, feeling edgy etc - seen below. Keep in mind though the list is quite short and doesn't include all of the things that could really manifest because of anxiety - https://www.beyondblue.org.au/the-facts/anxiety/signs-and-symptoms
Anxiety uses 70% of our systems including musculoskeletal (muscles), respiratory (breathing), nervous system, cardiovascular (heart rate), reproductive system (desire) and gastrointestinal (stomach issues). So it can kind of manifest itself in lots of different ways and this is why peoples experiences with anxiety will always be a little different.
Also I'm not sure why but your post went to the 'Depression' section instead of 'Anxiety' so if you haven't yet feel free to browse the threads related to anxiety so that you can see what other peoples' experiences have been like - https://www.beyondblue.org.au/get-support/online-forums/anxiety
Hope this helps
