Hi there,
just wondering if anyone had any advice or suggestions tips to help me out. I have been struggling with my anxiety all my life. But over the last few months it has just gotten out of control to the point I am having a panic attack more than once a day lately to the point I am throwing up. I know people say seek out your family and friends. But the truth is I don’t have anyone in my life that cares to take a step back and listen for five minutes out of their day. I am really struggling so and tips you find that helps you. I will be forever grateful thanks for reading.

Hello Mel1991,
Thank you so much for reaching out and connecting with our community. It sounds like anxiety is really impacting you right now... panic attacks can feel so overwhelming, can't they? Please know that you are not alone - many of our members have been where you are, and we promise that things can change with more support. You deserve someone who will take five minutes out of their day to co-regulate with you. 💙
Here are a few things I can suggest that might be helpful:
1. Practice self-soothing and regulating - here are some strategies that can help when you are feeling panicked (my first response to the lovely ABC01 is a good starting point, alongside others' suggestions): Your best strategy for anxiety in the moment. Lots... - Beyond Blue Forums - 599708
2. Use This Way Up to learn more about panic attacks via their self-paced course: Online Treatment Program for Panic Attacks | THIS WAY UP
3. Explore 1-1 therapy through a Mental Health Treatment Plan if you haven't already!
4. Look into mental health support groups. Grow have wonderful free online and in-person options to connect with others and access more support: Peer support groups for mental health - GROW Australia
I hope these ideas help as a starting point. Please know we are always here, and that you can come back to this thread whenever you need more guidance or support. Let us know how you go! 🥳
Warm regards,
Sophie M.
