The only person who ever cared about me is my mum. She has just been diagnosed with dementia. I’m devastated. I’m worried about what will happen to her. I’m also worried about me. No one else loves me.

Hello Dear Guest,
A warm and caring welcome to the forums..
I am deeply sorry your mum has been diagnosed with Dementia….It’s really heartbreaking for us when out loved ones are diagnosed with any serious sickness…
Do you have any other family or friends that can help support you?
Is your mum at home and are you her career, if so Dementia Australia offers emotional support, help, guidance and counselling for family members who has a loved one living with Dementia…there phone number is 1800 100 500, if your not comfortable talking on the phone they also have an email and chat service available….all the information is on there Website…”Dementia Australia”….
Being there for your mum with lots of love, care and patient understanding is very important for both you and your beautiful mum…Maybe if you’re up to it have a talk to your mums Dr. or your Dr about how this is making you feel and how emotionally worried and sad your feeling…maybe they can help you with some professional help to help you with your mental health, it’s very important that while you’re caring for your mum to also care for yourself which you can easily forget to do while caring for your mum…Please talk here anytime you feel up to it…we are here for you when we can be..
My kind thoughts Dear Guest and a very gentle warm and caring hug..🤗
Grandy..
