Hi Anri, welcome
Traditional outlets are...hobbies, sport, voluntary work etc. Some of these for some people end up bring passions.
If no interest comes to mind under the above banners then you likely have a motivation issue. In that case you should see your GP.
I've usually had a passion, cars or motorcycles. I recently built my own caravan and we towed it around Australia.
Without a project I'm lost, can't get motivated and get depressed.
Food for thought

Hi Anri,
Welcome to the forums. This feeling of being "stuck" and motivationless is familiar to quite a few of us. It is often a sign of depression. To start with, I suggest you scroll down to the bottom of this page and select the Depression checklist under "Get Support". It will give you a better idea of what you are up against.
The next step would be to make an appointment with a GP to explain the situation. You may need to be on a health plan. You deserve to live a fulfilling life. Sitting around, feeling blah is nowhere near it. So please take good care of yourself. Reaching out here was a courageous and wise move...a first step towards acknowledging that something is not right. Your well being requires attention. With the right help and support, depressive conditions can be managed. There's no need to struggle alone when assistance is available. It is a scary step to take but it will be well worthwhile in the long term.
Meanwhile, do not hesitate to post in these forums as much and as often as you wish. They're a safe place to connect with people in similar situations or just vent your feelings. Knowing you better would help us help you. We are ready to listen, you're not alone.

Hi Anri,
I think that Tony WK and Starwolf had some wonderful ideas and advice in their messages. So I don't have too much to add. I think their advice to consider seeing your GP is a good idea.
Like many others here, I can relate to those feelings- the contradictory feelings as well as the despondency and lack of motivation. It's rough to contend with those feelings.
I'm very glad you reached out. As Starwolf said, asking for help was very brave.
