Hey, I’m 17 years old and I am a girl. I’ve been dating my boyfriend for 3 months. I really love him and see us going in for the long run. However a few weeks ago I was at a party were I met a guy the same age. We really got along and we good chemistry. I’ve started to developed a crush on the guy that I met at the party, Ive been thinking about him a lot and I really want to kiss him. I think he might like me back but i'm not sure. I don't know what to do because I like both of them. Can You help?

As you love your boyfriend and can see a future with him, staying with him seems like a great decision. If he treats you well and you make each other happy, then you two would do well to stay together and see where the relationship takes you. Having a crush on this guy you've met once at a party, in my opinion, is not worth pursuing, as you have a loving boyfriend already.

Regardless of what you decide to do, the main thing here is that you don't kiss this guy while you're still with your boyfriend. I'm sure you wouldn't though 🙂 It's important to be honest and faithful to your partner, as this I'm sure is how you'd like to be treated in return.

Spend some quality alone time with your boyfriend - it may really help you realise just how important he is to you.

Hey Zoe.  You're only 17, a bit young to be too serious about anyone in particular.  You've only been in your relationship for 3 months.  I feel you should maybe 'cool' it a bit with your boyfriend (I know you said you love him).  You'll meet lots of boys during the next few years, have lots of 'crushes' maybe even 'fall in love' a few times.  Enjoy your youth while you can.  Keep seeing your present boyfriend, but if you want to go out with others, tell him.  Be honest about how you're feeling.  Your boyfriend will be hurt, but better to be honest than go behind his back.  You never know, your present boyfriend may meet someone he wants to go out with too.  It's normal at your age to be attracted to other guys.
