I don't know if it's something or normal

Hi, I am 22 next month, i moved to
Australia couple of years ago, wanted to escape
My egoistic small society and country. The fast pace city life and
Altogether to get a better life for myself as I thought this country
Had some bright minded people and I do have found them to be
But sydney is all about pace,if you are not clever or fast or good with making
Connections to people, you get left out and all alone.
My parents are back home, they support me but I wanna grow
As an individual. Now the main point is I'm lost on what to make of myself

Dear Man trying to be superman~

Welcome here, I'm glad you came. I think you already have a suspicion of what's wrong, it is in your title.

You have been brought up all your life in once culture, where your relations wiht other people from parents to shopkeeper is all very familiar, in fact you do not even have to think about it.

Now you are thrown into an alien world where I would guess every interactionis non-instinctual. You have to puzzle everything out. In a huge place like Sydney I would have overload and feel exhausted and lost.

Woud you like to say waht is scpeificaally troublng you at hte momnet? I can only talk in generalities otherwoise.

It does not mean you made the wrong decision in coming here, I'm sure your old environment had many faults, and like so many you have found you have grown.

I'm glad you have point of contact in your parents, it will be a help and comfort.

Perhaps in your new environment you are expecting to do too much too quickly.

Sorry, I must have inadvertently hit the POST button before I finished -so you get typos and all:)

I live in a small city and would find the transfer to Sydney or Melbourne almost too much. Can you concentrate on settling one aspect of your life before attempting something else? Perhaps study or employment to begin with .

Things will flow though in time.

I hope to hear from you again
