Hi there, I’ve think that my mind wasn’t in good condition. Sometimes, I scared of myself because I don’t see any future in me. There’s no kind of life I’ve dream since I know that I wasn’t planning to live this long. Should I check on psychologist? It’s getting heavier inside my brain 🧠

Hi there,
A warm welcome to the forums and thanks for your honesty in your post. I hear you, it can be so difficult when you feel as if you don't have a direction in your life. May I ask if you're in school or working and what some of your interests are? It may be easier to pinpoint what you like doing/learning as a first step. Then, once you've reflected it may be easier to then start to plan some goals for the long-term. I would recommend seeing a psychologist if you wish, it can be great to get some professional advice. Of course, you can also check in with the BeyondBlue helpline here: 1300 224 636
Wishing you all the best and reach out whenever you need.
Kind regards,
PsychDiaries

Hi Tan779
I think there are some people who often have a clear vision and then there are some who don't. Depends on the person and the circumstances they face. It's like how some young people have a clear vision of wanting to become a doctor or a carpenter and therefor they follow a particular path that leads them to meet with their vision. Then you've got some young people who don't see their future, which could simply mean finding any old job that can lead them to afford a certain lifestyle before things become much clearer down the track.
I can relate to there being times in life where nothing is clear and how that can impact mental, emotional and even a soulful sense of wellbeing. In this case, finding a guide becomes key. Finding someone who can help create a vision and help navigate the way forward can make a difference. Such a person becomes our visionary and navigator when we're feeling so completely lost. I'm wondering whether you know of such a person in your life or whether you'd consider employing someone to help in such ways.
With Psychdiaries2 mentioning being able to get a sense of what your interests are, what you enjoy, this can help point you in a certain direction while also helping you gain a sense of who you naturally are.
