I have never been in a relationship (I'm pretty young so this isn't exactly an issue, it's more what might be underlying). I've had a few chances but whenever I get the chance I freak out and end up going to the extreme (I'm talking about like blocking/ignoring them or becoming super weird around them), and I'm not entirely sure why. I think it has something to do with the fact that I don't necessarily like commitment, but at the same time I don't like change. I think I want to know if anyone else feels like this? Or ways which I can control/overcome it? Idk

hi Meatball, when you're young any commitment is scary, but it can still be there for those who are older as well, because being single and hooking up with someone means a change in your life.
You won't be able to make decisions on your own anymore, it will probably have to be a joint decision where you may not necessarily agree with, but have to, just to keep the peace.
The reason you ignore them is not because you don't like them but afraid to be with them, and it still happens if you don't feel confident in yourself later on in life, but once it does happens it means a change in your lifestyle, you can laugh together, enjoy what each one wants, have a cuddle with a kiss to go with it, don't be afraid to start doing it.
Remember you can always stop the r/ship atanytime , or perhaps the r/ship has gone far enough and don't feel happy being in it, but one day it's going to happen. Geoff.
