I feel all of this:
sadness, anger, apathy, euphoria, lost & Lonley, loss of interest in everything, irritability, risk-taking behaviours (frequently using drugs and alcohol to numb pain), disorganised behaviour, aggression, agitation, crying, unwanted thoughts, lack of concentration, racing thoughts, difficulty falling asleep, struggling to wake up no motivation to do anything except for partying
im not sure if Iām just sad or if I have something wrong with me and I want to be tested and I want to see a physiologist but I cant talk to my mum about any of this
someone please help can I go get tests done without having to get my mum involved straight away???

Hello Arose, thanks for coming to the forums.
What you have listed and told us all that you are suffering from doesn't seem to be helping you, I'm very sorry for you, but if these only happen for a few days then it may be a different situation.
I'm not qualified to diagnose you, only your doctor can do this, however, from our own experiences we can suggest that you can contact ReachOut, Headspace 1800 650 890 or Kids online 1800 55 1800, they will then be able to help you with your mother.
If you are 16 years old you can go to your doctor and discuss how you are feeling, but if you click on 'The Facts' at the top of this page, you will see the K-10 test, do this several times but not one after the other, different times as well as days, then take this with you whereevr you, especially to your doctor's appointment.
What does concern me are these 'risk taking behaviours' and would like to talk to you more about this, only if you want to.
Take care.
Geoff.
There is also the BB booklet you can read about all types of depression and you can find this by clicking on 'Get Support' at the top, scroll down until you see 'Publications to download or order' this may help your mum understand what depressionsis.

Hi Arose,
Welcome to the forums and thanks for reaching out to us. I'm sorry that you're struggling so much.
It looks like your post came to the young people section so I'm not sure how old you are? If you're aged between 12-25, you can go to Headspace without telling your parents. If they need a referral they often have Doctors at the Headspace centre too. It's completely free but it goes on your Medicare card. If you don't have your own and you're over the age of 15 you can apply for your own.
With that said though, everyone has limits to confidentiality (wherever you go). So the reasons they might have to tell your parents are if you're planning on hurting yourself or if you're planning on hurting someone else. Having thoughts and plans are very different though but I want to make sure that you know all the things. š
Here's the link for Headspace - https://headspace.org.au/welcome-to-headspace-centres/
By the way - whatever the Doctor says, you can still get some help. You don't ever have to have a diagnosis to go to therapy.
