Hi I Can,
Welcome to the forum!
I'm sorry to hear about the bullying. Were the bullies on the basketball team you were playing against? No matter who these girls are, bullying is not acceptable, so it's good you've reached out for help. Think about the hurtful comments the girls made. This may seem counterintuitive, but write down the hurtful words/comments you can remember in a list down a piece of paper. Leave space between the words/comments you write. Next to each hurtful word/comment, write things which prove the hurtful thing is untrue.
For example, if one of the bullies' comments was that you have "dorky glasses", you could write these sorts of things: help me see well, don't change who I am, many people I know need glasses, makes me look intelligent etc.
Bullies are often insecure people, who say hurtful things to others to make themselves feel more in control. If someone ever bullies you again (hurtful comments etc.), the best thing you can do is to ignore it. If you don't react, they might eventually get bored and stop. If they don't, you could try walking away calmly.
If this is the first time you were bullied, hopefully it will be the last time 🙂
Best wishes,
SM

Thank you SM:)
It was the girls on the other team yes. It is odd because they don't even know me so of course how can they know if I am a bad person? Thank you for your advice I will definitely try that, hadn't thought of it before.
Thank you for your support 🙂
