Hi Tacka2
Welcome and good on you for being a part of the forums too!
It really depends on what symptoms you are experiencing....I have been on AD's for a long time for chronic anxiety attacks..and they worked within 10 weeks
The AD's arent a fix all....They do provide us with a solid foundation on which we can heal more effectively using frequent counseling alongside the meds
The forums are a Safe and non judgemental place for you to post Tacka2.
If you wish to elaborate on how you are feeling that can help us provide you with better quality support 🙂
I really hope you can post if and when you wish
Paul

Thanks Paul
Since I upped my meds last Wednesday, I feel like I’m in overdrive just trying to keep my self busy waiting for the medication to kick in a bit! So mostly anxious but today I feel flat and tired!

So I have no appetite, that worries me. I have been taking sleeping tablets and they have been working well.. I seem to be constantly worrying about small things that are not worth worrying about! I am a mother of 4 and have been so use to doing everything. I know I do to much and need to share the load. I’m finding it hard because my family is also use to me doing it all and I have to be consistently at them to help! I have made an appointment with my GP and also psychologists for next week.. I’m looking forward to enjoying things again 😌
