Hi later

Threads go up the page due to posts being posted. If a thread doesnt get replies it slides down.

So the thread with the latest post will be at the top.

Also, there has been problems with the site this week hopefully fixed by the weekend

Hi 9 Names Later, if I've got your question right, you're asking about how threads are ordered in the My Threads tab?

My Threads is a complete record of all threads you have contributed to, not just ones you start yourself. The threads with the most recent updates will appear at the top, and so on down. This does mean that a thread you contributed to just once, but have stopped contributing to, will keep appearing in your My Threads tab whenever there is a new post in there.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi guys,

Thanks for your reply,I get it about the threads/posts.

what I was also asking if there was one thread where we can just ask ask questions on how to use this site?

eg how to look someone up or how to stop a thread/post or just what does BBC think about me posting..xyz

Hope this makes more sense.

Hi 9 Names Later, it would be best to use the Newbies guide thread and add your questions in there.

On your last two questions, it's not possible to look up individual members' posts on the forum at the moment, and BB moderators make decisions about locking and/or removing threads from the forum. It's not something we do usually unless there has been a violation of the community rules, or a discussion has become so heated that it's no longer productive (this almost never happens, as everyone here is so nice!).
