Hi everyone,
Never thought I would be joining a community like this however over the past year I've tried to establish a culture of reaching out in my life.
A year ago my marriage fell apart and my wife left me after forming a new relationship with her boss. I was subsequently diagnosed with anxiety and depression. The challenge of moving on while dealing with the grieving process and supporting my son throughout the process made 2018 a year to forget.
As a reserved introvert that prefers lurking on internet forums, I'd like to give joining in a red hot go as I continue to challenge current behaviours and be a part of a community.
Looking forward to it!

Hello
I know that it's never easy joining a site where you are able to talk to people without knowing or seeing who they are, bar me, but sometimes this suits them, rather than a face to face conversation.
I'm really sorry about what has happened to your marriage but understand why you developed anxiety and depression which can just make your life seem as though you are only standing in one spot and impossible to achieve anything.
I'm sure 2018 is a year you want to forget about but there could be too many issues to overcome before this can happen, which we can try and help you with.
All the people on this forum have been through their own type of depression and many are still struggling but have still volunteered their time to help others who come to the site seeking help.
It's great for you to join us and please in any way we can help you then please get back to us.
Take care.
Geoff.
