Hi, I'm not entirely sure what to say, things have been uncertain lately for all of us. With the fact I already had existing conditions it is taking a toll on me. I hope everyone else is okay! I'm a bird lover/enthusiast and general fan of all animals! Tell me a little about you?

Hello SapphireDreams,

Nice to meet you! I'm an art-lover and a fan of cats! I've also recently become fascinated with this cockatoo that sits on a branch near my home. How have you been coping with/keeping positive with the uncertainty lately?

Cheers,
Emmen

Sapphire dreams.

elcome to the forum and well cone for making yoiur own thread.

ou have come to the right place for animal lovers.

Do you have lots of pets.?

I like watching lizards in the garden and butterflies.

Many people like you have existing conditions and are learning to cope with the virus.

Nice to meet you. I look forward to hearing more about you and your love of animals.

Nice to meet you too Emmen. What kind of art do you like to do? I'm interesting in drawing, but suck at painting. Cats are beautiful creatures and have always fascinated me. I've looked after stray kittens in the past and given them homes, but have never really went looking to own a cat. I have a cockatoo, he's a galah. Big and pink. Is the bird near your home noisy? Not been coping overly well, but thought maybe talking about it would help a bit. How about yourself? 🙂

Hi quirkywords 🙂 nice to meet you too! I have six birds and a puppy. How about yourself? Lizards are beautiful, we used to have some when I was a kid. They are very misunderstood I feel. I have 5 different breeds of birds, by the way. Quite unusual for pets apparently to have so many different types

I do digital art mostly. But when I don't feel like staring at a screen, I draw zentangles in my sketchbook. They're relaxing and meditative - so glad I found out about those! I'm really bad at painting too, but I guess this isolation period may be the time for us to brush up on our skills, literally!

I've never had a pet. I'd love to have a cat, but I'm also afraid it will feel lonely if I leave it at home alone when I go off to work or something. For now, I'll treat the cockatoo outside my home as a pet haha. S/he's really quiet most of the time, but today a bunch of them came by and started screaming over something. They flew away just as quickly as they appeared haha. Is your galah noisy?

Oh dear. Why are you not coping well? If you are comfortable talking about this on this forum, do share. I'll be happy to hear you out and hopefully offer you some support 🙂
